All American Towing

My car was ticketed, towed and impounded due to a snow alert during an April blizzard. This was obviously a bad experience, so please do not assume I am just lashing out because of my trouble with the city. I would like to point out a couple of unpleasant parts of the "All American" experience that I believe could easily be improved upon. First off, they offer hours from 8 am to 8 pm to pick up your vehicle. This is fairly convenient, but by the time I got home from work, realized my vehicle was missing, called the police, and arranged for transportation to the impound lot, I was low on time. I arrived at 7:55 pm to find the employees leaving the lot. I greatly appreciate them returning to allow me to retrieve my vehicle. However, had I been just a few seconds later, I would have been out of luck until the next day. So consider yourself warned if you are running late. Payment was straightforward (CASH ONLY!), but I was really not impressed with what happened next. The employee motioned toward the side, indicating that I guess that's where my car was. I walked out toward what appeared to be an electrical wire storage area, and the gate began to open. I was then faced with a large lot full of cars, with no directions as to where my vehicle was parked. The lot was a complete swamp! Standing water in huge puddles over half the ground, mushy mud over the rest. By the time I walked through this mess and found my car, my feet were soaked and my dress shoes were ruined. I nearly got stuck in the mud trying to leave. Getting a car towed is punishment enough. This was cruel and unusual. I have my doubts All American Towing will do anything about my complaints. However, I hope perhaps someone from the city will see this and encourage them to clean up this storage area. I believe any company doing contract work with the city should be held to higher standards than this.

Called around and this towing place was the quickest and the cheapest around. They came right away. The towing driver was a younger guy, don’t remember his name:( since it was in the beginning of August, 2017 but he was EXTREMELY nice and understanding! I highly recommend this towing company for all your towing and service needs!!!

Overall, great company to work with. I’ve had multiple experiences with the company and have never been disappointed. The most recent instance occurred during negative temperatures that caused our truck to gel up while driving (damn diesels!). All American was prompt to respond and pick us up on the side of the road when we needed it most. Ryan is always great to work with, regardless the crappy situations I’m in, and Patrick is usually friendly. Hopefully I won’t need to call anytime soon, but when I do, I know All American has me covered.

Great guys to work with, I needed a payloader hauled from Nebraska to Sioux Falls and the guys were competitive on price. They sent their driver mark out to get it done and he worked well into the night to make it happen. We had some snags but nothing the guys from all American couldn’t handle. I had Patrick hauling some garbage trucks for me and although it was a smelly job he busted his buns and got it done for us and quickly too! I’ve used their service to get my keys unlocked from in my pickup by a guy named Ryan, he was friendly and great to deal with. Every time I come to the counter there Kimmi greets everyone with a smile no matter how good or bad her day has been and its very refreshing! All in all it’s a great company to do business with and I can’t count how many times they’ve saved my butt!
