Alpine Village Restaurant

I went to this restaurant for the first time Friday night, what a beautiful restaurant. The staff is very attentive, food is good and there was a great band playing. I believe the name of the band was Harbor Groove. The dance floor is very large and the band made the evening very enjoyable. The Harbor Groove band will be playing here again on 9/01 so I will definitely be going back on that night for more great food and dancing.

The food doesn’t come in the real german style... so its just americanizes stuff but not german... 😕 Taste is not very good but ok...

There is a huge tent set up during October fest. There is also a huge swap meet next door. The place is quite quiet during the weekend even in there shops area. There is an old bookstore, show shop cobbler, trinkets souvenir shop and even a dentist. Germans do celebrate in the market restaurant drinking wine and having a good time. The market’s deli and bakery is busy during the weekend with many people buying the many sausages and pastries and breads on offer. And there is a huge selection of beer at export prices.

I have been going here since I was little. Of course many changes have taken place. I miss some of the quaint shops that would sale items from Germany now you have a lot of things from China. Alpine Market is still nice to shop in. Food at the restaurant is a hit or miss. The Cosmetic shop is a good place to buy some teas and things from Germany. The shoe shop also has a good assortment of shoes from Germany..

Once Alpine Village had near real German food. The market has a small deli type cafe with European food. The restaurant menu could come from anywhere other than a European country. Don't waste your time.
