We've been coming to Jagerhaus for many years now, and always enjoy having our favorites that are still on the menu. For instance, my hubby had elk, which he always gets when it's a special. I had the most fun and flavor, as I ordered a large, house-baked pretzel with special mustard, and a hunk of liverwurst. (If you don't like liver, or chipped livers, skip the liverwurst, as you would most likely not like it). The pretzel was soft and hot, just like the ones sold by NY street vendors, sans the salt (and imho, it needs salt. The pretzel was great, soft, chewy, and enough for two. I had enough liverwurst left over yo put some in a dinner roll for an impromptu sandwich. For my entree, I chose my fave grilled bratwurst. Two thick and juicy bratwurst with awesome German mustard, sauerkraut, and warm German potato salad. Salivating just thinking about it. They offer breakfasts also.you have to try the German pancakes. Best ever!

Food is tasty. Good service. Lunch has a very good Pastrami sandwich. Lots of dinner choices. Small place in strip mall. Worth a visit if in the area. Good selection of beers.

Easy to miss spot since it's right off the 57 freeway. Serves very good German food with a good portion size. Can be a bit pricey with most dishes for lunch & dinner in the upper 10's. $15-$20. Still a very authentic atmosphere and they have two draft beers.

My family and I love this place. We have tried several things on the menu and loved it. The service has been excellent. I just found out that they make everything from scratch. Wow, how many restaurants do that? I will have to come back and try their breakfast menu!

Breakfast first ... the pancakes are amazing! German, apple, cherry, raisin - all are so good. And try there homemade plum jam. Now for lunch and dinner ... the food here is genuine German. Never had a bad meal here. And their beer selection includes good brews from the oldest continuously operating brewery in the world. This is a goid place to eat.
