American Collection Services Inc

I was sent to this collection agency by a dr Office who was sending all my bills to the wrong address so I never got them in the first place. I immediately set up a payment plan with this place. They had already taken 2 of the 3 payments out of my account when I checked my credit and saw they had reported me to the credit bureaus saying I wouldn’t pay them the $94 that was supposed to be taken out of my account at the end of Jan. They just took a payment out of my account Dec. 31st, so it hasn’t even been 30 days since my last payment to them. My credit shot down and I am pissed beyond belief, that is the first negatory mark I’ve had on my credit because I always pay my debts. Messing with someone’s credit is a big deal, it shouldn’t be taken lightly, and messing with someone’s credit that is trying to pay you the money they owe is really careless.

Avoid talking to Levi Dupree or David Wilson. They are rude and unprofessional. I tried talking to a supervisor and just like someone else mentioned in the reviews their supervisor was in a meeting. I tried calling once again and I could hear them laughing in the back. Thanks but I'll block the number, keep my money, and wait till the account drops from my report. These people were unbelievably rude. They will also harass you. I will be changing my phone number to not deal with these rude as$@!&!

I contacted this company regarding a past due account from an auto accident and paid it in full in 2014. Went to buy a car and was told it is still on my credit score! Contacted the office today and spoke to the same man I did in 2014 "Levi". He was supper helpful and nice. He let me know that these things can stay up to 7 years on my report. I was unhappy and he stated he would request a deletion of this on my report. Stated it would take up to 90 days to show up and it is not a for sure thing that they will delete it but he is willing to try. I am very appreciative of this man.

I only gave these people one star, and I wish I could have given them -5. I hate collection agencies. I have worked with numerous people as a psychologist, and they have told me horror stories about the harrasment they get from collection agencies. I don't know how anyone could work at one of these places and then look at himself or herself in the mirror the next morning.

A man just called me asking for someone I have never heard of. In that process he hung up on me as I was answering his question. Please do not call me again!
