We keep coming back to this place because food just tastes so good. Always fresh. Their brushetta appetizer is a must try! They have nailed the classic Italian restaurant feel that you get each and every time you dine in.
Good place to eat but remember not to expect great taste, filling sure. Wonder why it is not a busy place? Servers may have an attitude if you are not ordering their favorite or may later what's really on special. This will not be my top 100 places to eat on route 1.
Almost drove by this place. Would have been a shame. The best food around. Period. Authentic Italian out of Boston, best Lobster Stew I have ever had, great wine the walls are lined with wine corks. The bar tender Rachael is a hoot! Best priced Lobster rolls near Portland. The Italian Meat balls are to die for as is the Spumoni for dessert. Over looking the Scarborough Marsh this place is easy to drive by and you should not make that mistake.
Best service and omg the food. I will be back
Service was good slow but good the food was delicious
We visited this restaurant a few times when we were exploring the Eastern Trail in Scarborough nearby. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food was good we shared the seafood platter special. Prices were reasonable. We sat at a table that looks out to the awesome Marsh. It was lovely.
I just arrived in the area and was so impressed with my dining experience. The atmosphere in the dining room is that of a high quality establishment. The food was amazing with huge portions. Cocktails were great and served very quickly. It is a family owned and operated business. Our waitress was a member of the family. She gave us wonderful service and advice. The restaurant is across from the largest salt water marsh in Maine and we watched beautiful birds and a rising full moon. Life can not get better than this. I certainly plan on going back soon and often!
Service was mediocre, we ordered chicken parmigiana and Anjon’s specialty with fettuccine chicken and prosciutto. Husband found a large piece of plastic in his dinner and the special was not so special. Super expensive for the quality of food. Server was extremely slow. Manager gave us free dessert. Overall very disappointed. One positive was the stuffed bread for the appetizer.
If I could give them a 6I would! The lobster roll was delicious!!! Not many can serve lobster at that just right tenderness cold. They will accommodate you if you prefer butter instead of mayonnaise and will provide any extras that you like; lemons, Tabasco sauce etc. The service was outstanding for what I consider an odd hour. I had a very late lunch, just after three and had a level of service I would expect at a fine dining dinner restaurant in Las Vegas. Kudos to the chef, wait staff and owners for such a fine establishment!
Twice have been to this place, takes long time to get served, both times we both left. Missed Twin Lobster rolls for $15.00... not even a lobster roll for dinner, just enormous plates and no imported healthy spaghetti just ordinary stuff for $35 and over. We were the only ones there, nice tables, decor, and napkins but we missed the deal, so they would not serve us Twin Lobster rolls. We left and went to Ken's, great for lobster rolls.
