Anytime Alterations

I have been using Maria for 5 years for a number of things - obviously the work is excellent otherwise I wouldn't keep going back. The first thing she did for me was alter a bridesmaid dress that I wore when I was 32 weeks pregnant. It was not a maternity dress, it was just a regular bridesmaid dress, and she made it work. I have had two other long formal bridesmaids dresses altered by her after that and both worked out great. Today she was able to squeeze me in for an appointment for alternations on two formal gowns, even though I only called a few hours ahead of the appointment time, and I have no doubt that I will be happy with these as well. She also altered by friend's wedding gown - it was all lace from top to bottom and she was able to down-size it two whole sizes, and when it was done the lace looked like it hadn't been touched at all. She is meticulous and detail oriented. I highly recommend.

MARIA SAVED MY LIFE!!!!! I received my bridesmaid dress in the mail only to put it on and it NOT FIT!!! I took my dress to Maria with just nine business days to spare, after another seamstress told me the work required to make the dress fit could not be done! I found Maria and decided to take the dress to her shop after reading reviews about her work. Seven days later my dress is READY! It fits beautifully and you cannot tell it has been altered at all! I cannot stress how grateful I am to Maria for her compassion and professionalism in my moment of crisis. I am FORVEVER in her debt. Trust me when I say, Maria can get the job done!!!!

Maria was amazing. I took in my bridal wedding dress because it was too big and too long. As a person, she is great and professional she is a talented seamstress. My dress had a lot of intricate beading at the top and I was really stressed about it. She took of it and she hemmed my dress to the perfect length as I was worried about it being too short but it was perfect! She took into consideration how I wanted it and made it work. Maria knows best though!!!

I went in to get a couple of buttons put on a winter coat. She did it in under five minutes, was super friendly with this awesome dry sense of humor. I did call ahead, which I think is the way the store operates for the most part. It is tucked away on a little side street but worth finding. I'm definitely going back for all my alterations.
