Ridgeway Alterations

I had a great experience at Ridgeway Alterations when I was getting my wedding dress altered. I got it used so it needed to be shortened (it has a train and several layers of fabric making that not easy) and I needed to make straps shorter and make the neckline less deep. Ridgeway Alterations was extremely professional and took the time to have me come in and measure and have me approve every step of the way. It was amazing to have the assurance I will get a chance to see the details of everything being done. Additionally, I really needed to have the dress washed and pressed and despite the fact that their usual cleaner had just moved, they took the time to find another cleaner and take my dress there before returning it to me. The dress came back at the end of it all looking amazing both in style and fit as well as how white and shiny it was! I was very worried about trusting someone with my wedding dress but choosing Ridgeway was definitely a great decision and they made me feel at easy from the get go. I could tell I could trust them to do an amazing job. Oh, and the cost was pretty reasonable too and everything was done very timely. I would recommend this place to someone who has some nice items that need some work!

I was very happy with how fast and beautiful my dress alteration came out to be. The top bit of my dress was very loose and didn't fit me at all. It only took 3 appointments to fix it. 1- The consultation. 2- The fitting. 3- Reviewing the final product and taking it home. Plus Ridgeway is super nice and accomodating and his service was very affordable. Here's the alteration he did for me:

This is the best tailor I've used in over 20 years. He really knows what he is doing, is honest with fair pricing, and delivers on time. Ridgeway is a dying breed - a classy operation inside and out!

Very happy with my experience getting a bridesmaid dress altered that was multiple sizes too big. Mitchell trained at Parsons School of design and really knows what he is doing with fabric and clothing. Will be back!
