Incredible dentist from maine , his dental assistant is very efficient. They both were so down to earth. I'm not going to use buzz words or try and sell you here. These people are truly into care of the patient . I'm really lucky that they let me be there patient .

The dental service was fine. The problem is their backend. My wife took my three kids in for cleanings and a few other things, all covered by our insurance. The billing department screwed up a few things and ended up billing us for some of the service. This was over a month ago. We have called multiple times to get it fixed, always getting promises that their screw up is being corrected. It's been over a month and still nothing. We started with Josh, now we're dealing with Dax. Both have admitted it's Apexs fault. But they're still holding our money hostage until THEY fix THEIR screw up.
We've used other dental offices in the past with no issues. We will never use Apex again and strongly suggest you avoid them as well. You can get the same level of dental service elsewhere without the incompetent billing.
***UPDATE - Another month goes by and still no resolution. Now we have a third person looking into this debacle. We've also been charged a "finance charge" on an outstanding balance that wouldn't exist if they processed the billing correctly in the first place. These people don't know what they're doing. Go somewhere else. You can find service just as good, if not better, without this Three Stooges act in their billing dept.

My cleaning visit was good but when it came to sending me a check for bleach trays that I didn’t get was a diaster!!! My visit was in November 2017, the lead coordinator at the time Natalie was helping me get that resolved and said she would call me back. That didn’t happen so I called again and she explained she was just waiting to hear back from the billing department and will call me back by Thursday (I called on Monday) Friday came and still no call aso I’ve left voicemails stating how frustrated I am and still no call back. So I decided to stop calling and wait and let some time pass to call again finding out Natalie left and a new guy started there named Josh and so then he was supposed to help but that didn’t work out at all! He was no help what’s so ever he answered the phone said I’ll call you by the end of the week with an update... DIDNT HAPPEN!!! I called and called and called on the days and times he was there and he always would leave early or not be around so I spoke with the front desk girl I believe her name was Lydia? She was really nice and said she would talk to her boss about it and make sure Josh called the next day (he never called) for some reason when I called the next day she was supposed to transfer me over to Josh but a Brianna being a total B answered saying “What are you needing from josh?” She then transferred and he said “We issued you a check it will be there in 4 to 8 weeks, sorry no gave you that info” I ABOUT LOST IT!!!!!!!!! YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO CALL JOSH!!!! Idiot.... never coming back! Issued check in March 2018... so ridiculous

Horrible! Do not go here! I have been a patient here for years, I love the actual Dentist (Kwant) so because of him I will rate this a 1 star rating instead of a negative 50! In each of the past 3 years I have gone in and had dental work twice a year. Three years ago, I had some gum work done and they did some laser treatments that fixed the issue. In each of the last two years, I have been over-billed. Last year I went in for what I thought was a routine teeth cleaning (covered by insurance) but they claimed it was a "deep teeth cleaning" so they charged me for it. After getting upset, they changed my file so that it read that I would only get the basic "insurance covered" teeth cleaning on my next visits. Fast forward to January 2018, I changed insurances and had a dental appt. on January 2. So I called BEFORE my appt. to make sure that I was 100% covered on my regular/routine teeth cleaning, and they confirmed that I would pay ZERO out of pocket cost for the appt. that day. About 4 weeks later, I get a bill in the mail for $39.46. So I call them, and they have a new guy that just started that says he will take care of it (this is early February). Fast forward a month, no call back. So I call again (be prepared to be put on hold every time you call) and I talk to a lady, I am upset and she assures me that she will research it and get back to me. I have been waiting over a week from that call, and still nothing. These people are incompetent, and I am sure when my review is posted I will get a call back. (Funny how that works) I am also going to be reporting them to my insurance, and also to the BBB. Oh yeah, the first guy told me to rip up my bill, so I threw it away. A month later I received a new one with finance charges added to the bill. RIDICULOUS! Dr. Kwant, I am sorry for the bad review - you are fantastic, but your front office is a complete disaster! They totally suck! Apex Dental was awesome when I started seeing them in West Jordan several years ago, they were small and cared about the patients. Now it is a big business where it is all about numbers and the extra TLC that I loved before is totally gone now. Unfortunately, I will be switching dentists on my next visit this summer.
