Apex Dental- Sandy

This place is a joke! I was there this morning as a first time patient, I went for a general cleaning that was promoted on 9.71 ZHT. All they did was take X-rays and tell me that I had build up. No duh that is why I am here. They told me that they wouldn't be able to clean my teeth and that I would need to come back on a separate day for a $365 "deep clean" . They would not give me my general cleaning because they did not see the point in doing a general cleaning when I would need more. I walked out with no dental work done .. Just info that I already knew/assumed. When I was checking out they still wanted to charge me the full $69.00, even though they hadn't done anything but x-rays. Completely scammed out of my money. The dentist was very professional, but other then that no one else was. I went to another dentist that day to get a second opinion, and he told me that the extra cleaning wasn't necessary. I was able to get my teeth taken care of with a less work done and less money spent! I'm glad I went somewhere else.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE!! APEX DENTAL IN SANDY IS A COMPLETE JOKE!!! This is hands down the worst dentist I have ever been to!! They did an implant for me in February and it’s come loose, I was there a week ago for a cleaning and asked if they could fix the loose implant while I was there but apparently that’s not a priority ( probably since it’s not making them money) and told me I would need to come back. I did setup an appointment for 1 week later and asked her if it got worse I would need to come in and she basically looked at me like, not my problem. I called today to see if they could get me in because it’s barely hanging on at this point and I don’t even dare to bite into food In fear of damaging the crown. But they told me I need to wait until my scheduled appointment and that they can’t see me today!! They do not care about you, once they have done the work and you paid for it. I felt like I overpaid in the first place and now I know I have with this shotty work that they put out. I hope people will read these reviews and choose a dentist who actually cares about customer relations and will stand behind their work and do the right thing when a customer has a problem with the work THEY did!!

We were looking for a new dentist, I heard about Apex from 97.1. Apex is amazing!!! My 4 yr old loves it and wants to go again. 5 star customer service all the way around. Thanks Apex for getting my kids to love the dentist.

My husband and I picked Apex dental thinking they would be professional, knowledgeable and ethical. The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. In the year that we have been customers, we have met so many different employees that it is impossible to keep up. There is NEVER a straight knowledgeable answer as far as insurance is concerned and that is because they don't care!! Not only do they not care, they DON'T KNOW AND ARE TOO BUSY GETTING NEW PATIENTS IN AND NEW DENTAL STUDENTS SO THEY CAN KEEP ON MAKING THEIR MONEY. I moved from Florida and this place, even though it looks very high end with all their expensive gadgets (which I am sure they owe and have to pay) doesn't even hold a candle to a mediocre dentist in Florida. Mimi who is the supposed financial expert has so much to learn as far as social skills, customer satisfaction and dealing with customers. We urge anyone that might be considering Apex dental for treatment to really think it twice because they are far from professional and definitely NOT trustworthy. If negative stars were available that's where they would fall because my husband and I dare say it is all smelling "fishy". Good luck to anyone that puts their mouth to any of these people.

Waist of time. It took an hour and a half to tell me about all the degrees and awards they have and they didn't even get to my cleaning. Would NOT recommend.
