So I know the government has to do their job so I am understanding. It is not everyone fault. But there are too many reviews on how you are not responding to phone calls. The caseworkers aren't even talking. Interesting. You guys should get it together before you get in trouble. Karma comes to all. Some workers here will get in trouble for this. If you did not want this job, then leave. Nobody forced you. You are working for people who are in need here. I'm fine. I'm just trying to find out if you guys need any updates or anything for my case. But looks like I need to show up. People, do not call. They will not pick up. Report this as much as possible to the governor of Arkansas. Flood his inbox with this. For this is a government job so he can look into this. All races cause I know there are more than black people getting benefits. I will call today. Get it together DHS!
So sad that these people are blessed with a job and never want to perform their duties to help those who are in need. Everytime I go into that office there's more DSH employees then those who come there for help and still no one can't answer the phones. They messed up on there end losing my paperwork causing me to loose my food stamps and health insurance benefits. I had to go straight to the office right after I have gotten out of the hospital because they never answer there phones and that's sad. Answering the phone can be a very big service for those who are elderly, handicap or impacitated. They need to clean out that office starting from the top with management and supervisors and work there way to the bottom in getting rid of those deadbeats who doesn't want to work. I will call the governor's office and make a complaint because, them not answering the phone is the daily norm for this office and it have to stop. I'll give them a zero not one star if I could.
I overnighted my son's SNAP renewal paperwork because I thought that might be the best way since my paperwork has been lost a few times in the past. Now his benefits have been cancelled because they say they didn't receive the paperwork. I have proof of receipt, with the signature of the person who signed for it! I have tried calling their main number for over a week and all I get is a voice mail that says you cannot leave a message. The system is broken. They make the most vulnerable people suffer because this system is to difficult for them to navigate. I'm trying to help my son, who is autistic, and I'm not able to get through to them. Now I'll have to go to the office and I'm sure they will make me start the process all over. DHS - Do Better.
I needed to call them because my stamps didn’t post when they were supposed to. Things happen so I decided to call to straighten things out. But like the other times when I call they did not answer. I call early about 30 minutes to a hour after they open so I’m trying to figure out why you wouldn’t be near the phone. Also the voicemail is full so I couldn’t leave a message for them to get back with me. The whole situation is frustrating.
Never ever ever ever answer the phone and that's just sad. Like dang what's with that????! Then when you do get somebody they got a attitude like I asked them to work there. Lol. They have to do better Like frfr
I was notified by the office I have till December to turn in paperwork I've already turned in and they cut my stamps off in November are u serious I really believe it's because of nana care daycare and one of they employees sister if I find out I'm suing the state I promise I have documents proving y'all cut my stamps off before time
This visit was so quick and easy, matter of fact it was the fastest and best experience I have ever had with any DHS office.
The staff are always rude. Only one worker at the window.. The wait times are always over a hour long. This place is a joke and does great disadvantages for the black African American community.
No one here knows how to answer a phone. Shannon Chapman needs to be fired if she's not going to do her job. If I could give no stars I would.
I wish I could give this place zero star rating...Staff is incompetent to say it nicely. There should be no reason for an applicant to have to wait a week for snap benefits! They lie for no reason at all and could care less about the applicants. Horrible place. Horrible staff. Horrible manners. Just all around horrible people that are working at this location.
