No help at all, the women who is in charge of the electrical company through the commission thinks it’s normal for power to go out frequently, says we can’t control the “act of god”… I’ve lived in places with fires and hurricanes 6 times worse then this light snow and never had my Power out for more then 3 hrs. Now Going on 24hrs, I called these people for help. just to be told that isn’t their fault and that it’s normal for the company and they are trying their best... Obviously she doesn’t take her job seriously enough or else she would see that their is a serious electrical issue here in this state. They are by contact with company’s and they have no standards to meet when it comes to providing power. The commission hasn’t set any standards they are expected to meet and this is why the electrical issues here are so common. Why can’t they upgrade their equipment? Why aren’t they maintaining poles and transformers to prevent these issues? Trimming trees and foliage? Their is no preparation for the storm they just let it happen then badge it together till another issue happens. This commission needs to take way more responsibility for their people. And this company we are FORCED to have. The commission isn’t doing their job and that women needs to fired and someone who actually cares, take her place.
Entergy let someone use my info to get their lights turned on. They didn't get authorization from me or anything on the original account. I found out by accident told them to disconnect, they said file a police report. They were supposed to send me a fraud packet, I was told it could take up to 8 weeks. I waited and waited, nothing, then I get a letter from collections, Entergy had turned me over. I called and explained, I was told don't worry about it, I think another month goes by a different collections agency. Long story short, Entergy sent the fraud packet to the i. Think you work for the utility company not the consumer
These people are so unprofessional its past disgusting...their #1 priority is to keep these thieving multimillion/billion $$ companies in business & continue to lie, steal, scam, cheat etc the consumer ... I've had several billing disputes with no resolution though it was quite clear with all my evidence that my bills were definitely without a doubt erroneous...if there are any positive reviews about the Public Service Commission best believe its by the people that work there & their friends/family members...
After 20+ calls to a Energy company in Arkansas to have power restored during below freezing nightly temperatures to a person who was paid up and Promised many times by Customer service to have it turned on for several days and nights... As much as a few of those Reps and Supervisors tried to be helpful... the orders in their notes were never carried out... so that person endured 3 Freezing cold nights and Days without heat, lights and electricity. I turned to PSC and on day 4... Miss Lisa called me back and I am so grateful that they were able to get power restored within 30 minutes! Thank you PSC!
I had the absolute best experience with the office. I had an ongoing problem with a major energy service provider here in Arkansas. I've been dealing with the issue for 3 years. Finally while at my wits end, I called the Arkansas Public Service Commissions office. The first person I spoke with was the operator in think do not remember here name. She was right on point and knew exactly whom i should speak with. I spoke With Becky T. with The Arkansas Pubic Service Commission. She listened to my ramblings about how I had been dealing with the issue and the length of time which had passed while trying to resolve this. Becky acted as though she was concerned about my issue and told me she would check in to the issue and call me. Becky did call me and it seems as though the troubles will be resolved very soon.
It was my first time requesting for help. My overall experience wasn't very good. I tried to make it easier by offering TWICE to email my statements in detail to show them what I was trying to despute however they only took the company's side and statements. They didn't even listen to anything I was saying regardless of details, comparison, or confusion. I was really trying to take in what they were saying but that was it. It was just me alone trying to understand, repeating myself, and them pushing for me to just understand without even giving me a chance to SHOW them what I was desputting. They were more frustrated that I wanted more information versus actually trying to help me. It's fine though. Karma is a thing and it'll happen. Everyone will need help at some point.
