No complaints! I was a new patient walking in, no appointment, and I was treated with much respect and asked to fill out the clipboard. The entire suite s brand new and well kept. I felt comfortable. I waited no more than 10 minutes before being called in, and had a nurse take my vitals immediately. She was so sweet! The doctor was in talking to me less than 5 minutes of the nurse leaving. The Doc was also very sweet, Dr. Saunders is such a doll. Loved her! Though the reason I was in was past what a primary care doc could do, she still helped me and gave me a referral to someone right upstairs. I am excited to call Astrahealth my new primary care place and I will be returning. I have never had an experience with a health care facility where I actually felt welcome and had someone listen to my problems instead of just dismissing me. I am very satisfied!
I've been seeing my primary doctor at this facility for two years for now, while my doctor is great, this facility, or let's say the whole Astra health care system has been worse and worse after my each visit. First of all, the call center is rude, full of attitude. unprofessional, and totally not helpful. I had to call many times to book my annual physical because the call center has no ideas for the doctors schedules and locations. Whatever information given to the call center, no matter how important it is, will never get to the management or anyone in the actual facilities. I think the call center alone can make patients 10% more ill if patients call by themselves. Second of all, the staff and the "health professionals"-- if they can be called that, seem to have a high turn over rate, and decline rapidly in numbers and quality to an astonishing level. The PA barely speaks English, struggles with basic physical checkups sloppily and could care less, barely takes notes and ignores whatever patients trying to convey. Third, the management. The management in Astra Health Care system used to concern about their performance and made an effort to reach out to patients actively; but now even the emails to their management will result in nothing. Fourth, the wait time is awful as ever. I don't recommend this facility at all.
The staff here are always friendly and helpful. The wait can sometimes be lengthy, even with an appointment, but they try to get you in as soon as possible. I have had nothing but positive experiences with the medical staff as well. Most importantly for me, they listen--something my old primary care physician was never good at doing.
I walked in today with my father, no appointment. The support staff was courteous and Dr. Murphy was wonderful. He took such a personal interest in my dad that he 1 made an ENT appointment for him later the same day and 2 called me to see how we made out and to talk about what our next steps could be. Truly one of the best doctor experiences I have ever had.
I needed a last minute doctors visit because of a pop up problem because not all problems have specific dates and times. They were able to accommodate me without a problem. The Physician that saw me was great and she explained things well, including the medication. Because most doctors offices cannot see you at the last minute this is a great place to help you with your medical needs.
While the reception service is “okay”, the other medical staff leave a lot to be desired. The doctor and Physician Assistant were kind and engaging. My overall displeasure is with the communication and prescription service. Heaven forbid you need medication! They take forever to communicate with the local pharmacy retailer here, Walgreens. I’m looking for another provider but hard during the holidays.
Worst experience ever. If you are a patient you want be treated early. Literally we had to wait for 3 hour to just have our turn. Even we were not informed that they didn't have the doctor and just have a nurse practitioner. They don't care what is your condition. Just want yo make money. No minimal courtesy to inform that it will take time. I will never ever come here or prefer no one to come here also. I would like to give -1 star.
Their motto is just walk in and feel the care, yet they kept me waiting for over an hour. I was the 3rd person in. Came in at 8:15 and now it is 9:30 and still waiting. They need to learn to organize better if they are going to accept walk-ins. They provided no information on how long the wait will be. When I ask how much longer, their response is if there is no appointment that comes then you will be next. How am I suppose to know how many appointments the scheduled for the hour and if they keep coming then I have to keep waiting. This is ridiculous. I am feeling sick and I have a kid with me. They better take down their slogan, because I don't feel the care whatsoever. Worst service!
I love the people here, from the moment you arrive to the nurses. The Clinical supervisor deserve her last name BEST! But Doctor Mirvan, my primary Doctor is a 100+. She is a wonderful person that REALLY care about patients. I happily give this health care place a 5
My appointment was at 245pm and I was seen at 340pm. Almost an hour later. It is clear the management wants to just make money. The appointment was with an MD and I was seen by a nurse practitioner who was nice but that's not what they are billing my insurance for! Moreover, they take in walk-in while they make scheduled clients wait, with only one practioner on staff!! And this was explained to me by several of the staff. Like I said they are just trying to run a patient mill. The MD by the way wasn't even on site. Smh.
