This is a wonderful park to go for a long walk. It's never too crowded and always feels safe. I always enjoy visiting it The Park is well laid out and the ancient oaks take you back to in time. There is a well maintained, paved running and bicycling path around the perimeter, an executive golf course with clubhouse and restaurant, and the Audubon zoo occupies most of the park area between Magazine St and the Mississippi River.

This place is awesome. You can relax by the river and watch boats go by or just come for the sunset. Very dog friendly. People are also cool here too. If you've never been before come down and check it out. You also have the zoo connected to it to. We actually call it the Fly.

Beautiful, well-kept park with a great walking/running loop (nearly 2 miles) and little exercise stations intermittently situated along the way. It is usually busy, but my husband and I have never had trouble finding a parking spot. Awesome place to bird watch! Definitely a gem of the city. :) It is also a very family-friendly place with lots of shade and benches.

A fantastic park! This, behind City Park, is one of my favorite parks I've ever visited. It's large, has plenty of beautiful plants and trees. There's a feeling of calmness in the air, and people here always seem to be happy. It's hard not to be considering how peaceful of a place it is. Even when there's a lot of people.
A large paved path, with lanes for both bikes and pedestrians circles around the park. There's lakes, turtles, ducks, and other various birds around the park.
Overall, super great place to relax/have a nice walk.

Very nice park to walk around and see nice trees. From downtown NOLA, that the trolley as they have those nice. It's a very nice drive and you will see a lot of beautiful Victorian houses. The trip can be done in 2 hours or more of you want to take your time in the park. At the end of the park, they have a zoo.
