Hidden Oaks Family Campground

I want to say had I not had the opportunity to speak with the owner, I might have posted never never go here. The curb appeal left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately for this lady she had experienced floods last March, August then lost her husband in Nov. And after all that she struggles to rebuild yet one more time. She is working very hard so give her place a chance. Site was great size. Water electric sewer. $25 a night with Passport America. Wifi was iffy if you have old equipment. But my newer phone and tablet worked fine. Just no cable. Very quiet. Very dark but had lighting.

Staff was courteous and helpful. My pull thru site was level and open. Very quiet. Easy access to I-10.

Visited in April 2018. Sites all had grass, full hook ups and picnic table. Water had a heavy iron smell. Bathrooms weren't the cleanest and it seemed the doors were always left open. Also there are peacocks running around on the property. Kinda neat, but they were loud at night and in the mornings. Good prices if you have a passport america card.
