Bamforth Marine

I work for a oyster farm with 6 boats in our fleet. After years of searching for a good mechanic we were fortunate to find these guys. Boats are done correctly and quickly, we couldn't be happier.

Because of the poor service my husband actually sold the Evinrude off his boat. We never minded overpaying for labor and parts, but figured it was top quality. We visited another mechanic and quickly found we could get better service and better prices. The last time we went they talked down to my husband making him feel it was his fault, but we found it was an issue the other shop found quickly correctly.

Years ago I used to come here for Auto parts, now I come here for all my torch and welding gases, and Marine supplies and parts. Still family owned and extremely polite and helpful counter people. Prices are good and always seem to have what I need. Always nice to have a local business in town that I have been patronizing for 40+ years and many more to come.

Bamforth Marine quickly solved a motor problem quickly and correctly within a week of bringing it in to them. The dealer who sold it to me was unable to find the problem after two months of working on it. The Bamforth employees are friendly, helpful, and a joy to do business with. I highly recommend them and will be going back there in the future.
