Bar Louie

Clean place. Prompt acknowledge. Quick service. Fresh and hot ingredients. My husband had a bloody Mary which was actually pretty good. Refreshing, spicy, flavorful. I had an appletini. At my request, they were very accommodating. It was alright. Flavor was there. It just looked a little 'dirty'. Possibly it wasn't mixed properly which gave it that look. Then I had a watermelon margarita. That was a disappointment. I was expecting something more refreshing and taste the watermelon flavor. I just had the strong aftertaste of margarita mixer. We had lunch there yesterday and we’re really impressed. My husband had the voodoo chicken sandwich and I had the bourbon sauce burger and they were both outstanding meals. The drinks we had were excellent - my Cosmo martini was made with flavored vodka and wasn’t too sweet and my husband had the bourbon basil blackberry drink. Our waitress was great, Michelle. She gave great service and her recommendations for our drinks were spot on. We will definitely be back. The day previous we ate at Cleaver and Cork and the meals were okay and really overpriced. Day before that we had drinks at Howl At The Moon that we’re really mediocre but the live music was fantastic.

Michelle is an awesome server! She is very personable and helpful. Their happy hour is great, half off apps and a lot of drink specials! And $1 beers on Wednesdays, can't do much better!

Once again, Brooke has outdone herself. We always request her when visiting Bar Louie. As a very picky eater, she always makes sure our order is 100% correct before bringing it to our table. And if anything is wrong she fixes it instantly. This place makes it worth it when going to down town events. Highly recommend!!

I went to this bar last night for the second time. The first time it was last year and the young women fixing our drink and meal was amazing. I went back last night after raving to my bf how good the service and food was here and felt embarrassed with the service we received. The young lady cane over in a timely manner and got our drink order and put food order. Maybe 8 minutes after we ordered our food came out. For over 10 dollars I only got 7 boneless wings and my bf got nachos that were 12 bucks ( over priced for what we received) . The only bad thing about it was that they food was not HOT. It was warm to room temperature and not good at all. I was so disappointed. I didn’t want to cause any trouble so I didn’t say anything about the food being warm even though it was prepared fairly quickly, so we consumed the food. Paid and left. Sadly he sad we can’t go back since the food was warm and not so good. I guess the night I went last year must have been a good night.
