Chappell's

Really nice old school sports bar. Food was good. We had the tenderloin and steak sandwiches. Tenderloin came with fresh horseradish which was a surprise. Steak wrap was cooked perfectly. Service was great with genuine attention to our requests. Found an old school UCF football helmet which I have never seen outside of Florida.

Great food, awesome experience with the sports memorabilia on every inch of the walls and ceiling. Mr. Chappell will sometimes walk around and visits with people...if you are wearing local college team apparel, he will go out of his way to show you items he has collected from that school. Very cool place!

This place is amazing! From being greeted by the owner to the wood panel walls covered in sport history. While that alone is a good enough reason to go the food and service is one of the best in the Kansas City area. If you are visiting or a resident you have to put this restaurant on you places to go list!

Chappell's is great. They offer a very tasty vegan burger. The atmosphere is sports. All sports. It feels so homie though. Like your at your grandparent's castle made of wood. The stain-glass windows make you feel like your in something like The Beauty and the Beast movie. Great set-up and a great restaurant. The bathroom is even dark so you feel like you're relieving yourself in a dungeon-type atmosphere.

Average food, good atmosphere, very sub standard service. We had to eventually get our own silver and napkins. Never offered water or drink refills. And certainly not the best burger in KC as promoted. Overcook and dry. Fries were frozen curly fries reminiscent of a fast food restaurant and the chicken tenders had zero seasoning. But the worst part was the service.
