Bareburger

I was looking for a decent place to get a burger, fries, and coke while staying in upper east Manhattan. This place seemed the best fit based on photos and reviews. However I'm not a city-person and the options at this restaurant were far fancier than just saying "bacon cheeseburger with Swiss and fries". There are no fountain sodas. No coke or Pepsi like option. So water from a wine bottle it was which was cool. The atmosphere was great. But the closest thing to what I wanted was a Brioche bun with organic beef and vegan American cheese and smoked bacon. The burger was cooked correctly, fries were decent, onion rings were great... but I honestly do not have a fancy enough palate for Bareburget. Locals really dig it though. So if vegan, organic, etc stuff is your thing this is right up your alley.

Exceptional customer service, attention to detail. I had the wrong address on a delivery once, entirely my fault, but they helped me get it reversed even after it was too late in normal circumstances. The manager also routinely remembers my orders since I go there often. Food always fresh, still hot on delivery. Refreshing to see employees care wholeheartedly about the work they do

Outstanding! The food is VERY good. I had a standard burger with sweet potatoe fries. The home made lemonade is out of this world! The staff is SUPER friendly.

Haven’t been here in years, tried it again, don’t plan to ever go back. The service was non-existent, the food was barely edible and not fresh nor was the burger hot, I was charged for the wrong items on my receipt, and honestly the whole place just felt sad and empty. There are better burgers in the neighborhood that I recommend you try instead.

I ordered through Seamless. During my delivery window, I received a message that my delivery had been modified or canceled and to contact the restaurant. Both the number listed on their site and the number through Seamless did not connect me with the restaurant. Now, almost one hour later, no food and no idea if it’s coming…

Hit and miss. Sometimes they make the burgers well and as specified, sometimes not - often there won't be enough sauce or toppings or the ratios will just be off. Disappointed that they now do thin patties well done as standard and have stopped allowing for the option of medium rare, even though the latter were often overdone anyway. With this menu change I doubt I'll be back any time soon.

Came in specifically to try the Impossible burger and it didn’t disappoint! I got mine with cheddar, garlic aioli, caramelized onions and pickles — my friend actually thought it was better than the regular burger he got. We also shared the macho fries as we had to load up post-workout :P. I would definitely get this same meal again.

The vegan burger are great. The impossible burger taste like meat, probably because of the smoke flavor that is added on it. French fries not so great... Beer is ok, don't have to many options.

The burgers were very tasty and juicy so make sure to have a napkin nearby. The fries were extremely good, it's even better than it looks. They also had a pretty good variety of food and drinks if you're not in the mood for a burger. Definitely coming back here with friends : Features: All the employees had their masks on and the large water bottle they served for everyone had a napkin over it for minimal contact.
