Barracuda Bar

Really rude bartender. Everyone else was incredibly sweet and so welcoming but it makes it hard to like a place when you feel you’re inconveniencing the bartender anytime you ask for a drink or drink recommendations. Honestly, left the bar crying with how unwelcoming the bartender was. I don’t feel comfortable here.

Didn’t even make it in. Door guy thought my out of state iD (North Carolina) was fake. Despite the fact that I offered to show him other forms of ID. Husband is military. And we have been stationed here for 4 years. I am in my late 30s so it was definitely annoying to be turned away from a 21 and over club.

That's what a seedy dive should be. It has atmosphere with a fun and as xpected crass drag show. I went there alone at around 1am and felt very comfortable being there (I am a hetero female in my 50s). If you are lucky you might even catch a celeb being allowed to blend into the crowd. Hope nothing changes for when I go on my next trip to New York.
