Bastrop Computers

After two weeks they finally diagnosed a failed motherboard in my laptop. I was told the data was unretrievable and decided to take it to another place near Fry's in North Austin. Bastrop computers lost my laptop charger and gave me an old one for a much smaller and less powerful laptop. The new place successfully retrieved the data after two days. If I have any future computer problems I'll just drive the extra distance to Austin.

My very first experience with Wes and crew has been nice to say the say the least. I had spilled a drink on my laptop and figured that a new mother board and cpu was probably going to need replacement, after reading online. To save money I had priced the parts and called Bastrop Computers asking if they would allow me to furnish my own parts, which they agreed to. Before ordering the parts I had them do a diagnostic service $40 and low and behold Wes found a bad RAM stick and everything else to be fine. He said that for the keyboard , mother board, and cpu all to be fine was a rarity after a spill and that I was very lucky. Yep, lucky indeed to have my computer back for $40 and to have found this honest service company.

Very nice, professional and definitely does good work. The only computer place we trust and we still take our computers here even though we live a fair distance away now.

Fixed up my laptop in two weeks and they were extremely friendly. I have zero complaints which is also great. they called me back so that's a plus A+ great place to take for repairs!!!!

When I asked for a windows 8.1 computer I received an 8 year old Dell. And Wes forgot to add the WiFi, the mouse and USB ports. After taking it back the WiFi still didn't work. However, I did get my money back.
