Microsoft Store - The Shops at La Cantera

I have to express my gratitude in the great service I received when I took my PC in for update repair. I was extremely impressed with how I was treated as a paying customer, when in fact I was advised by technical support to take my unit in for further assistance since it couldn't be resolved remotely, and it was definitely taken care of... free of charge. As I waited I was offered a beverage, as well both my 4yr old and toddler. I wish Microsoft had more locations like closer to 35N & 1604. It was a great experience and I will definitely go back to this Microsoft store.

So the surface pro series has a known battery defect. It isn't a matter of if it will fail but when. So what does Microsoft do? Nothing. If you have a pro 3 microsoft can't replace the battery so they offer to sell you another one at a discounted rate rate of $599. The latest model is 699, which is newer than the one they try to sell you. This is poor customer service and any awful business model. No wonder people prefer apple.

Went in with my daughter we are both Xbox gamers and was looking around at all the new stuff and my 9 year old wanted to show me a vr headset not the big one on display but a smaller one plugged into the computer and a lady who was running the store runs up to us screaming about signing a waiver mind you my daughter hasn't even touched it yet then before I can even speak she ask my daughter her age and my daughter replied 9 the manager made a smug face and blurts out ohh she can't try it anyways...we literally touched it for 2 seconds mind you I spend a ton of money on Xbox games moviestore and equipment but it's expierences like today that make me know I made the right desicion to go to apple and buy my wife and daughters computer there instead when we walk in there we are not judged instantly and they let my little girl play with the things she wants to check out ...it's crazy kids are the biggest part of your market and you want to make them feel uncomfortable glad I went with apple..this could have easily been avoided if it was done in a better tone and if you would have just took to time to make eye contact and explained to us rather than make a face and walk off...

Staff in this store are brilliant and very engaging with customers. Also rather insightful.
