Baumgartner's Cheese Store & Tavern

Oh man I accidentally deleted my review instead of editing it. Drag..I felt good about it. I just wanted to update since they got a new point-of-sale system which allows credit card tips. This place is SUPER SWEET! All about simple and good. Won't be making any Beard nomination lists, but kudos for doing what u do and doing it well! Don't forget to give a dollar, or more, for great causes .. look up and ask how they get all those up there!

My husband and I met our sons for lunch at Baumgartner's. It was a cold rainy day but the mood at the restaurant was warm and cheerful. They had a choice of 4 different hot soups an array of sandwiches and a bounty of beers, both foreign and domestic. Charming place,very friendly staff. We'll try again.

Come here for the great service and solid food! Cool, Old World restaurant which seems to be popular with the locals. We tried the corned beef sandwich, bratwurst, braunschweiger and the 2nd best chili (it really may be!) There is a full bar and a decent number of beer selections. Give your server a dollar or two to pin to the ceiling - it's for a good cause.

First time visit, had the pastrami and swiss sandwich. Was an awesome sandwich, came with a side of cheese. Fun place to stop by.

Wonderful place! Staff was extremely friendly and happy to answer any question. Jason knew a bunch of recommendations for places to see in the area as well. Get the chili! Delicious! Beware the large cheese plate! Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs!
