Bell Moving & Storage

Lost/broke/stole over $150 of our things and wouldn't replace. Bell moved my family at their peak price tier ($4000, no packing included) for ~200 mile trip. We sure didn't feel like we got premium service though. Long story short, they pushed us into not going through our bill of lading at delivery and some of our stuff was missing or broken. We packed everything ourselves, so we mostly had boxes to pick up. The moving guys tagged all of them simply as "box" on their packing list, even though we had them labelled by room and contents in order to keep track of them. When I took issue with them just handing me a list with over a hundred entries titled simply "box", I was told "don't worry about it." I took their word, since they are part of a large, reputable company. Lo and behold, on arrival at our new home, the movers had no interest in checking to make sure that each box was placed in the proper room to make it easy to count them. How could anybody know what was what with over a hundred entries listed as "box". They handed me the packing list with everything checked off. When I requested to count every item before they left, I was told "Just look in the truck and see that it is empty." It was clear that they were in a hurry to be out of there. So, I took their word again and signed the paper. Of course, we discovered that two boxes were missing. These boxes contained over $100 of nearly new fiestaware and a glass lamp-shade. Coincidence that the missing boxes contained fragile items? We also immediately discovered that one of our storage bins was full of water. Leak in the box truck? In addition, we had let the movers borrow our step ladder, but we saw them put it back into the truck as they left (after we had signed for our stuff). Probably an honest mistake. But, what were we told about all of this when we asked for compensation? "You signed off on receiving these items. There is nothing to be done."

I was relocating to FL and was over whelmed with all that needed to be packed. Thankfully I chose Bell Moving. The salesman was GREAT gave suggestions, answered questions, was always a phone call away. The packers came in on schedule, packed everything ready for the truck. The truck was on time loaded and to FL I went. I had my household items put in storage and I could not have had a better driver. The truck driver and helper unloaded in 3 hours and where absolutely the best. Thank You Bell Moving & Storage.

Moved from Pickerington, OH to San Antonio, Tx. Self packed, they provided wardrobe boxes and packed 5 televisions. Move went well. They were on time both day of move and the day of delivery. Robert, the driver was excellent. Had thee quotes, this was the best quote.
