one of the worst bridges , if not the worst bridge to navigate a towboat through on the upper ohio river . Very hard to navigate around ! If your a towboater and you have worked the upper ohio river then you know what and where the bellaire bridge is locatrd( m94OR)

The Bellaire Bridge has been out of service since the early 1990s. Prior to that, it operated as a toll bridge connecting Benwood, WVa and Bellaire, OH. The bridge has been a focal point of debate for the last 20 years and during that time the bridge has seriously decayed. The bridge is quite a local icon, standing tall over the Ohio and adds a nice backdrop to the local area. Plans are underway to demolish the bridge within the next year or so, so see it soon before it goes!
