Belton Police Department Administration

Anyone else notice that the people who have been arrested hate the police, but those who have used their services to be protected are complimentary? I was once stopped for a burnt-out headlight, but after a document check, was on my way with a reminder to get it fixed (it actually did just burn out that evening). At any rate, the few times I have needed assistance the police have been extraordinarily helpful and prompt in responding. I will agree with the reviewer that the people answering the phones sound annoyed, frazzled, and are abrupt, but that's (my experience) pretty typical for a lot of establishments. At the end of the day, we should care if the police are being fair, keeping the peace, and attentive when called. My experience is that the BPD succeeds at this.

An individual this AM was going through my surrounding neighborhood, apparently going through cars to see what valuable items they could take. The police officers that handled this situation made sure the person was taken into custody. If they wouldn't have been quick at locating this person, my car and my personal belongings would have been gone. I am grateful they stopped at my house since they noticed my car light was on. Thank God for police officers that do their job correctly and get everything taken care of, the right way. Thank you, we need more police officers like this, especially with the ever growing crime rates, and the innocent people that are affected

The animal control is useless. The animal control is ‘out of town’ or of little to no help in Belton. I have had positive interactions with the police department and have no issues with them, but the animal control needs work.

Sucks. I never get pulled over, when i did i asked a question and he arressed me. Broke my antenna, raised the cuffs till i was on my toes and stuck his knee in my crotch, when i about fell over he said i resisted arrest... then at the police station during the body search there was one women, i asked if the man who just sexualy assulted me not be there so he held me down and was able to look at me nude. Apparently being arrested for an unalumanated license plate lite means u have no rights and can be sexualy abused. This happened a week after i asked tge mayor a few questions. I got info on laws spoke to my old hight school hisrory teacher the mayor and boom sexualy abused and arrested for a question. Dose federal trump state county and minis.. courts? Federal law says automobile is a consumer good. Moter V is buss among the roads for businesses. Aka automobile dosesnt have to have plates. 😊. This is color of law (fake). We should only have common law. No harm to person or property no crime. Are constitution says we are a republic (free) ( not Republican). Not democracy (majority) (not democrat). If you know your laws they will hunt you.
