No better place to have a birthday. Do you know when the staff asks you ever 10 seconds on how was the meal? This place doesn't need to. Servers were quite appropriate with attention. I would call it professionalism. Cleanliness would be the second thing I look for after service and Benihana Wheeling is very attentive. Clean foyer, clean bathrooms, clean chandeliers. As a former worker in the restaurant industry it takes more than just good management, it takes a culture to acquire the level of service this location provides. A big salute to management. Thank you guys and gals. I'm sure we will have many more birthdays here in Wheeling. When you swing on by make sure Ms. Annie or Ms. Ty has a fan in Arlington Heights.

Got sat next to a family with uncontrollable kids and the parents were worst! As a parent myself I wanted to choke the parents for their own behavior. Nothing but yells, complaints and demands toward the server and specially the cook... My husband is extremely calm and even he couldn't handle it anymore so he got up to speak with management. The server and the cook did a fantastic job and helped us look past the issues around us. The manager gave us a discount. The server knew we were celebrating our anniversary so he came with a vanilla scoop and took a picture that was printed for us. That was a nice ending to a dinner that could have ended so bad.

One the best restaurants I have visited. I went with my family for an aunt’s birthday. It was phenomenal! First of all, it is very expensive. Don’t expect to be cheap, although their lunch menu seems more budget-friendly yet not so much. The service was great, the cooks were very skilled in their cooking and entertainment. The beverages were delicious as is their food. Highly recommend for special occasions!

Just a decent place to eat. Food was okay and the service...I don't remember being great so just okay too. Call in a head for sure if you have 4 or more people.

Same show as always but we'll done. Reasonable food. Skip the cocktails (too sweet and a little boring) and go for the sake - they have some nice ones.
