Best Buy slogan should be "We aren't cheap, but if you need something you can't wait for from Amazon we might have it in stock". Staff is generally knowledgeable which for an IT guy is nice. This store is pretty good about keeping a variety of everything. They might not have the exact model you are looking for, but they will generally have the equivalent in another brand. I have on a few rare occasions got some great price matches here as well as Black Friday deals so I don't mind shopping here ... If I can't wait for it to come from Amazon :)

We went in with a computer issue and Justin and Joe and Gavin are all three employees that work together to help us figure out not only the best computer that suited our needs but also they helped work out and make sure that we are getting everything that we needed including word documentation for the computer program make sure that the computer was clean and packed well. They also checked our account to make sure if we had anything redeemable and they gave us virus protection in addition to explaining how it worked. Not once to be feel pressured into buying or obligated to follow through with any promises. We felt free to listen in on the information that they were giving and thought that it was completely okay to walk away without feeling bad. All three gentlemen were incredibly helpful and just honestly decent people.

I am still holding after 25 minutes. The music is still playing. These guys never pick up the phone. I live 10 minutes away. I have driven to the store while I was still on hold for 30 minutes, I’ve gone inside the store and there are no customers there and the employees are just hanging out. The phone calls simply don’t go through. That’s why I stopped shopping there and took by business to other stores.

Best Buy lost my laptop and has offered no compensation for it. About 2 months ago I sent my laptop to be repaired at the service center with the "in-store" promise that it would take 2 weeks. On the 13th of last month was the last notification of any work being done including shipping it back to me. According to them it was finished and ready to be sent back. After then I returned to Best Buy every week asking where my $1000 laptop was and why it kept saying "it was in transit". According to them (Best Buy costumer service, in store managers, sales reps) they had no idea where it was and that "if it didn't show up next week they would take action to replace it." Well every week I went back and someone would say " Sorry sir I can't take any action to help you and you need to talk with the higher up management". I literally spent 8 hours in the car driving back and forth because no one could even call me with information about my laptop. My account was flagged twice and we were promised that we would hear back within 48 hours..no call. I talked to Todd and Jason the geek squad manager and store manager who said nothing more than "you'll have your laptop next week." Like every week iv been in that store. No one offered to replace my laptop which was originally bought for $930 plus data lost including bank information, social security information, projects, and information relating to my military career. No identify theft protection either. Best Buy doesn't care about their costumers, they just care about money. Just a warning if anyone is thinking about using the store for laptop repair.

Zack went out of his way to help me with getting the phone I needed. We ended up ordering it, since they had none in stock. He also helped me work programs on my current phone. Thank you very much.
