This is my second time coming to this location where their website stated they had product in stock, only to drive out there and see empty shelves. The shelves were empty at this store. I came in for a dji product and they didn't have a single item in stock. Check out my pictures and see how desolate this store is. Suggestion to best buy.... If you want to sell product, you have to have product on your shelf. This store lost out on $700 of purchases from myself due to their shelves being empty.
For the most part, it's easy to find what you need/would like to look at. "Gaming" keyboards were separate from the computer area, so that was interesting. The associate could tell I was a little confused due to the separation and offered help which was nice. Unfortunately he reeked of cigarettes so that wasn't ideal. Apparently only certain things are available for you to look at and the rest is in the back. Even if the website says they have something, you might not be able to actually look at it until an employee tracks it down, just so you know. Still, I went in and got a great deal on a new monitor and a decent deal on a wired keyboard and mouse. The cashier was helpful with information about extended warranties and returns. While I don't go in here often anymore, like most of us, they tend to always have some sort of option that addresses my needs. The price point is often the deciding factor here.
Came in to return a defective smart scale. No problem, was quick and easy. Then I returned to check out to buy some cables and there was a long line -- no problem again, they have self-checkout via the app! Easy and painless. My only complaint is that they didn't have very many Best Buy Essentials product available. Would've been a little cheaper for me, oh well.
First off, the staff was amazing. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We were approached several times but they didn't hover while we looked. You could hear them helping other people as well. However, the selection was not great. We were looking for a mid range gaming laptop. They only had high and low end models. We were specifically wanting 16g memory, a fast processor, and a decent graphics card. We could not find one. Even some of the high end models had low memory, or we would find a model with high memory and low speed. We were stuck between 3 models. One had the right specs but was so small as to not be worth it. The one with a good graphic card had low memory. The salesperson let us know we could upgrade the memory on the model with the good graphics card. However they did not carry the memory. Honestly, the only reason we bought the laptop, was because we were using the Best Buy card with no interest payments. I'm not happy to have to buy more memory and open up the laptop, but my partner was ok with it...
Hours are odd compared to what they used to be, closing at 7:00 or 8:00 p.m. now depending on the day instead of 9:00 p.m. A little inconvenient as a customer depending on what your work hours are, but I do understand there's employee shortages and other things in today's retail Market so it kind of is what it is. Product selection was still good, and they did carry some gaming products that I just couldn't find anywhere else except online. Price was a little higher than some of the online mega stores but I could grab at the same day so I was okay with that. Employees were helpful and friendly, and the store was clean. My only real complaint was the hours, but with employee shortages and shrinkage problems nowadays I do understand. Plus, unlike some retailers they do keep their app updated consistently so I knew ahead of time with their hours are instead of getting blindsided when I got there. I've always been someone that has enjoyed going into an electronic store and looking around before purchasing. With most of the major electronic store competition such as Fry's and Circuit City long since out of business, it's refreshing to see Best Buy still here, with product stocked and in business. I do hope that the shorter hours they have now are due to the worker shortages and that they are not indicative of some financial troubles. Best Buy is one of the last major electronics retailers out there, and I hopefully they are still here with good product selection and helpful employees for years to come.
The security guard was responsive and respectful when spoken to and ask questions about the store as well as listening to a rambling fool like myself. Secondly I was there to pick up a product that I purchased online the guy told me it wasn't available I said can I go look for it where it was supposed to be picked up and just bring it to the front because they hadn't done that job. And I was directed but I wasn't certain so he followed it helped me find it we wound up not finding it I said can we change the order to pick it up elsewhere we started to do that and they found it sitting in behind and just not scanned yet to the staging area of the software and so they did that and I picked it up and left it was awesome this place is great went back in clarified I could return it if it doesn't work out for me even though it's an electronic device within 15 days and get a refund. Great job you guys star star star star. Oh I missed the star.
Definitely the biggest physical electronics company for a reason but you have to scan a queue to get service which is cool and all except I was going in there for a new phone because my camera broke.... Just kinda went over their heads I guess. Decent prices on some things, but they were sold out so I had to drive an additional 20 minutes to pick up the last camera and laptop they had in stock of that brand, employee refused to hold it at the first store leading to a stressful dash to the second. Overall I wouldn't recommend it unless you need to replace a broken electronic device and can't wait for shipping.
Drove up for Curbside, apparently the bay I was in didn't work as I had to stop the delivery person who was delivering to everyone who had come after me. He said I was following instructions so the site wasn't working and went and got my items. He was very nice ,fast and friendly. My items are a gift so no comment on them at this time.
Be careful ordering appliances. I planned my vacation around a delivery of a dishwasher and scheduled it from noon to 3pm on a Monday a month in advance. They called me a 8am saying they were outside of my house ready to install. They then canceled my appointment for the day at 3pm. Spent two hours on the phone at least with 4 different reps. Good luck!
My Viper car alarm was going off randomly and Auto Tech Lead, Tabby, fixed it so quickly it blew my mind. She then taught me how to resolve the alarm sensitivity issue myself which I would have been terrified to attempt had she not shown me. Excellent customer service and professionalism. Tabby > Glass Ceiling get it!
