Big Apple Pediatrics

We have been to a few pediatricians and Dr. Ward is by far the best of them all. She is truly gifted and it is apparent that it is her calling in life. She’s so good with both of our kids and has helped from a tongue tie with our son as an infant, to ear and eye infections as they’ve gotten older. She is very down to earth and really listens to the questions you have as a parent without making you feel less than. We love this practice!

We met Dr. Cathy Ward when we were shopping around for a pediatrician for our soon-to-be-born twins they just graduated high school. She came highly recommended, having been recruited by a famous-on-the-UWS doctor who was about to retire. We had a lot of choices, but we picked her and have been delighted by her, her care and her team these 18.5 years. From the moment the twins came she was part of our family and we couldn't have been happier with Dr. Ward. We are grateful to her for everything healthwise with our kids - including when we had serious medical issues to deal with and when we had middle-of-the-night emergencies and when we needed urgent forms for school or soccer or travel. Dr. Ward is amazing! She is my daughter’s doctor since she was born. Dr. Ward is so knowledgeable, professional, caring and loving. She listens to us patiently, does thorough check up, and provides useful tips for us. We love her!!

Dr. Ward is simply the best pediatrician in NYC! She’s been amazing to our family for 8 years since my daughters birth. She has been there for us from midnight fever to ear infection, to emergency while we were on vacation or while she’s closed for renovations! She’s proved to CARE above and beyond. She’s also a wonderful human being! Rescuing cats in her free time. We’ll forever love Dr. Ward!

First time mom I’m so happy I went with my gut and got my baby’s ears pierced with Dr.Ward she was gentle and explained the process well to me before starting on Erin, she gave me two choices of earrings to pick from all for the same price. I am happy with the placement of the earrings definitely recommend it 10/10 service!

Dr. Cathy Ward is THE GREATEST PEDIATRICIAN bar none. Her holistic approach to caring for children and families' physical, mental and emotional well being is unrivaled and we are so thankful for her and her staff. My kids speak of Dr. Ward often and with great fondness - they look forward to their annual check ups and regularly ask if we can stop by her office just to say hello, and she ALWAYS comes out to give the girls a smile whenever we do. Thank you Dr. Ward & Big Apple Pediatrics for caring for our girls like they are your own.

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Ward since she was a newborn in the hospital and I can't be more happier to have been referred to her by close friend. She is the best doctor I have ever come across and I travel sort of far to her. I refuse to go to any other pediatrician for my daughter as she is always right with her advise and diagnosis. I am so thankful for Dr. Ward. Her and her staff are amazing!

Not enough words can describe how amazing Dr. Ward is. I've been to many pediatricians but no one could ever come close to how great she is. She's so informative and transfers all that knowledge to the parent to make us more confident in treating our children. There is no one I would trust my children with other than her. Her team are also incredible!

Dr. Ward is a great pediatrician. She takes her time to get a full picture of the situation, listens carefully to any concerns. She is also very responsive and always follows up on the well-being of her little patients. 5 stars plus!

Dr. Ward is an amazing pediatrician! She was our pediatrician when we lived in the city before moving to the suburbs and we greatly miss her. Our twins were premies and had complications earlier on. We were 1st time parents and had no clue what we were doing. Dr. Ward always made time for us from 2am calls to early premies complications. She truly cares for each of her patients.
