Food was excellent as always. Brisket and turkey were perfectly smoked and very juicy. Rib tips and chicken were full of the bone tender. The sweet corn muffins are amazing and a must try!

I really want to love this place. I order from here about once a year hoping that the quality of the food will be better than my previous experience. I always order the rib tip dinner with fries and corn sides. The Styrofoam container isn't even lined with foil to keep the food hot. The corn is covered in grease, not butter, grease. The fries are either overcooked or undercooked and smashed together like a blob of starch. The bread isn't a big deal But if it's going to be included in the rib tip dinner at least it should be good bread. A nice good thick chunk of bread is historically part of a rib tip dinner because it helps sop up the sauce. But this place gives you a thin slice from a 99 cent loaf of white Wonder Bread that dissolves in water. I wouldn't even feed this bread to a duck. Meanwhile, I would love to enjoy the sauce. However, the tips are swimming in grease which has formed a quarter inch thick pool over the sauce. If the bread or the fries were any good, I would try to take a dip. But, I'm not going to risk clogging my arteries to get a taste of that. Most importantly, The rib tips themselves are mostly bone and fat. I ate some of the meat off of several tips and it tasted peppery, like perhaps the sauce has a pepper flavor. But the meat is so greasy I couldn't determine if that peppery taste was the smoked meat or part of the sauce. I hope Bill's BBQ will make serious improvements to their food quality.

I ordered catfish dinner. The catfish was very good!! But the Mac and cheese and corn muffin was terrible! Mac and cheese dry and tasted like it was made yesterday and put in the microwave. Corn muffin was cold! Just didn't like it. The service was wonderfulFood: 2/5

Great food and great service. We got in about a half hour before closing and the nice gentleman came out and said folks don't feel like you need to rush though your supper we'll be here for a while preparing for there next day. We had the half chicken, pulled pork sandwich and chicken gizzards. Some of the BEST gizzards I've ever had.

This is your typical barbecue place. With the exception that the food is fall off the bone delicious. I've eaten here many times and every time it has been delicious. I drove 20 minutes out of my way today to eat here. I will be back !! Thanks, guys!Food: 5/5

I would highly recommend to try the brisket . I got the Brisket Dinner and was not disappointed. Very nice brisket ,good bark ,juicy and not over seasoned cant ask for more. Sides were good nothing out of this world . Also got an order of popcorn shrimp which was good not too greasy like some fast food places tend to serve it out and most of all great service. Great place .

Beef brisket of good same as pulled pork. I wish fries would be a bit more salty.

Truly a Black American success story. Used to visit the shack that started it all coming back from the hospital. More taste per square foot in that little spot! So I'm only giving this place a 3 star. The rib tips were good but the sauce was way too much vinegar in it. The rib tips had more bone then meat. However the fries were good and quite alot. All in all it wasn't bad but I wasn't impressed for what it costs.

The rib tips are EPIC! Everything they make at Bill's is tender,juicy and full of flavor. The cornbread muffins are better than Grandma used to make too,also one of my favorites! The staff is friendly,the prices are good and you get a lot of great food for your money. Elkhart residents all know Bill's is the place to go and people drive from far away just to get this awesome BBQ!
