Birch Cliff Lodge

Love this little hidden gem. Very quiet and well manicured gardens and beach. Free canoe and kayaks to borrow and incredible sunsets. Very affordable!

I've been going up here in the summer since I was a kid. The cottages a quaint, but they have been updated nicely. If you are looking for a rustic getaway on a quiet, beautiful lake, then look no further. The sunsets from the hill are straight out of a dream.

The cottage was absolutely the nicest we've ever been to. The area is very picturesque. The owners didn't seem to know much about the fishing in the area. We 4 adults fished for 4 days and caught 4 Fish. In the 17 years we have been going fishing in September - usually a different location every year - this is absolutely the worst we've ever seen If you just want to go to a nice cottage this is your place. If you want to fish, go elsewhere!!!

I was here for a school trip 4 days 3 nights over a weekend. The cottages are fantastic, the facilities are extremely well maintained, and the view can't be beat. The cottages are varying sizes, any size group will fit. We had ~40 throughout the site. Highly recommend this lodge to anyone staying in the Bancroft area.
