Bixby City Police

Your operator at the Bixby police is awful. I am saddened after calling in this morning, the Bixby police proved how much they don't care this morning. There was a suspicious person going door to door this morning when most all people are at work, so I called the non emergency line and reported this, to my shock the operator starting questioning why I was calling this in? Why is this suspicious? I felt like why am I even trying to be a good citizen? I have elder neighbors along with moms home alone during the day, not to mention a couple of years ago a neighbors house was broken into during mid morning hours after door to door "salesman" came to her door. I believe most break ins happen during the day if I read that right. I hope nothing happens from the lack of civil duty you showed today. I believe that's what cops are for protect and serve.. serve would be the main word here. Now it's in writing so they'll know I tried to call it in. I’d much rather know Bixby cops are protecting us versus giving out speeding tickets. Your operator needs classes on how to treat people.

I am very disappointed in Bixby pd. There was just 1 suv "patrolling" the twin creeks neighborhood at 9:40pm and for whatever reason the officer was shining their bright spotlight on both sides of the street. The officer then rested at the stop sign at the end of the street and was in no hurry to move for a few minutes. The officer then proceeded to continue slow patrolling. I feel like they only serve tickets and fines and protect themselves what a joke. Update 03/24/2018: Bixby pd is patrolling the twin creeks neighborhood and ticketing pizza delivery boys when they should be out doing real police work. I regret moving to this nice neighborhood, they make me sick!!

Many of the men in uniform in this police department are seen throughout the busy working days, driving up and down the main strip ticketing many individuals… A lot of them are probably hard-working citizens being slightly careless in the 45 mph zone. Yes I'm sure there is a need for routinely patrolling the streets to keep law-abiding citizens safe. However on local neighborhood Facebook pages through any of the neighborhoods planted here (neighborhoods which pay a lot of tax dollars I imagine… ) If you are a member of any of these neighborhood Facebook pages, you can see there is a high trail of theft on a weekly and nightly basis. We have been victims of such crimes on more than one occasion… And on one such occasion had followed through with a lot of evidence including surveillance video from where one of the criminals took our stolen credit cards to spend money… As well as a picture of the truck he was in and license plate . We found the truck in traffic on more than 1 occasion and we called the police each time. The second time the police told my wife to "stop following the vehicle" and nothing was ever done. It appears that this case fell through the cracks (like so many other local neighborhood victims) however the police are still collecting a lot of hard working citizens money for going 10 miles over the speed limit on memorial… Keep passing the collection plate guys! I don't care what anyone says if they took some of the daily patrol guys catching the speeding soccer moms and placed them in strategic locations at night where this crime has been going on (for years) they could catch a lot more criminals.

From what I know the Bixby police is great. I just couldn’t find anywhere to complain about how awful the Animal Control is. We just called because a super sweet Collie mix got loose. An old man showed up in a animal control vehicle and apparently the dog had gotten out before and the dogs family has a history of domestic abuse. The dog was noticeably scared as it should be and the old man proceeded to grab and lift her by her collar and throw her into his truck. I am disgusted at this. The fact that they’ve kept this jerk for this long is beyond me. They must be really desperate. That poor dog did not deserve to be treated so awfully. Wish I could’ve got his name so I could have reported him. Just awful.

The City of Bixby is unreal. Shane Mckinzie is a liar, and he aids people in falsifying evidence to help those people gain ground in Custody Proceedings. I filed a police report asking the Bixby PD to investigate the false reports from my ex, and I simply stated to Data Dump my ex's phone or device to trace where the "REAL" contact was coming from, and then the Bixby PD tries to say that "I" filed a false report. The Bixby PD are criminals in my opinion. I clearly filed NO FALSE REPORT.
