Most of the U.S. wants you to close your doors. Bottom line. Your fuel rates are the REASON why many people are not a fan of you and more people are switching over to electric systems. Either lower your rates or close down. SCUMBAGS. black hills pro-rates their gas in the fall and winter time and RIPS people off. They lie about their reasons as to why they need to charge more. If they want their customers to stick around, they can meet people in the middle or suffer losses by having to close down like the retail stores did.

People need to understand they are not the highest rate and they work hard to please their customers within reason.

They don't listen when you call in. The rates are ridiculously high and there is no local office to speak to someone. A simple call is impossible. If there were anywhere else to get this utility I would.

Was with BHE for over 35 years. Went in personally to stop service and give forwarding address. Two and a half months later, receive a statement from a COLLECTIONS AGENCY for the balance. No statement received nor phone calls (phone number wasn't changed) from BHE. Typical incompetence. Take a look at the majority of your reviews and fix your problems. Your customer service if poor, your accounting and billing offices are poor. Looking the other way when problems need to be resolved is professional immaturity. Raise your standards and hire competent personnel.

Over a week without A/C, and they can not get to us until Thursday! That will be 10 days without A/C, except for the 2 separate 24 periods after they cam to "fix"it! If they had diagnosed it correctly the first time they came out, we would have air by now. It gets to 89 degrees in a house with 3 kids, a 14 year old Lab, and my Elderly mother in law....NOT COOL SERVICE GUARD!!
