Black Oak Grill

This was a second chance experience since my first was really underwhelming. It was a disaster for me. I don't eat dairy or meat so ordered fries as that and onion rings are the only items with both. I asked for olive oil for my bread instead of butter and the oil that came out was rancid. I asked about the soup of the day and she said kale potato so of course I was like YES! but no, it was kale sausage... Much to my disappointment. All that said. I'm glad I had fries to eat and my friends gave me their steamed veggies. AND because of the mistakes made on my order, the owner came and comped my whole ticket.

Great service and overall the food was tasty. The trout was a good surprise and was very good. The roast pot was on the salty side but good seasoning.

The seared ahi black oak is awesome, I work up the street and will order this all the time for lunch. Other items on the menu are good as well, the French dip is a classic. Atmosphere is good, and close to parking, ice cream, and the movie theater.

Good food, good prices on food. Drinks are a little pricey. Would recommend going.

We enjoyed our dinner here! Nice location and food presentation was very nice! Price was reasonable too! Highly recommended!
