Plank Seafood Provisions

Seafood in Omaha? I know it, but my experience @ Plank was excellent. We shared three apps, the oyster Rockefeller, classic shrimp cocktail, and alligator. All three were really enjoyable along with a local beer. Sat out on a patio to do some people watching. If you feel like seafood and find yourself downtown, I highly recommend.

The raw oysters are excellent. The drink menu offers creative and delightful options. The atmosphere is energetic with big views of the street. Our guest really liked the tuna sliders. We definitely will go again.

I think this is the best restaurant in Omaha at this point. Everything is great. I don't do oysters (because they are disgusting) but literally every meal is wonderful. The salmon is a standout.

The two servers at the bar are outstanding. This is our favorite date night spot. The happy hour is incredibly generous with drinks for such a high scale place. We love going to Plank and bring greeted like familiar friends!

I decided to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful evening. After being seated by the Hostess, it took way too long for me to be waited on. After Brian (Manager) got involved, things were great, so I'll give the restaurant 4 stars and Brian 5 stars! He did a great job of making sure I was happy when I left. Thanks again, Brian. I am from out of town so Plank was recommended to me. While reviewing the menu outside a couple walked by and said I should try the Scottish Salmon Crostini since it was Happy Hour. (I don't eat oysters.) So I ordered that plus a bowl of New England Clam Chowder soup. Both were good, with the soup being better. Next time I am in Omaha, I would give them another try and probably sit inside to eat.
