Good food, service, and atmosphere. Our server had told us that the portions were huge. So we split a side a entree and a dessert. The Buffalo wings were amazing, the stroganoff need a little salt and the ice cream sundae was really tasty. The only problem here is the size of the entree. It was less than huge and less than a portion to share. We enjoyed, but we left a little hungry. I recommend coming to get some vegan food and trying the well made eats. Everything is made in house, which I always like to hear. The less prepackaged good that I can eat the better.

We ate here tonight and savored every bite! We started with the Buffalo Wings which I'm still astonished weren't made of meat. I had the Curry and my husband had a Mac and Cheese (but not actually cheese) bowl. Both were seasoned perfectly, beautifully plated, and obviously made from the freshest ingredients. The desserts were devine! We had Carrot Cake and the Snicker Pie, which melted in our mouths. Our server was attentive and quick. When you go, be sure to make reservations, and expect a tight fit in the parking lot. The portions are perfect-size but my husband and I discussed how patrons (such as our parents who appreciate the large, starchy portions of an old supper club), might be disappointed by the serving size. but overall, a unique and mouthwatering dining experience!

New. Fresh. Great food. Make sure to browse through the online menu before + Twitter, and Facebook as they’re always running fresh, local dishes. And make sure to take a peak at the prices as your bill can rack up quickly, but definitely worth it as they’re only open for a few hours and meals are very tasty, local, fresh, made from scratch, and they actually pay their employees!
I would absolutely recommend placing a reservation ahead of time because most days/times it can be very busy as it’s a small restaurant
Every time I’ve been here has been a wonderful experience. Service always fantastic, food is usually always lovely.
Would love to see brown rice options in the future.

I was finally able to make the trek to Omaha, NE and dine at the small and quaint restaurant, Modern Love. Ever since I found out that Isa Chandra was opening an all vegan restaurant I wanted to visit. The Godmother of the vegan Internet and author of a dozen books building a restaurant? Hell yeah! But in Nebraska. I raised my eyebrow and waited patiently.
It took time to be able to go. Once we moved to Kansas it was a matter of justifying a six hour drive for good vegan food in a sit-down-get-waited on environment. Finally an opportunity presented itself and I took it.
The prices were a little steep, but that wasn't surprising. I had read the menu. The wait staff was attentive, respectful, and fun. We went with some folx from the event we were attending so were in good company as well.
And a very important note, a Safer Spaces poster on the bathroom wall. I was thrilled.
The food was spot on. Lots of flavor and comfort, just like I expected. I'll be writing a more detailed post for my culinary blog. But for now you should know, Omaha has a treasure, and it's called Modern Love!

I can't leave a review of the food, but I can about their hours posted. We were travelling across the county and excited to eat there this past Sunday. After being in the car for 10 hours, we arrived at 8:20. Their hours say they close at 9:00. We were promptly told that their kitchen closes at 8:30 and we could purchases desserts only. The website does not indicate the kitchen closes at 8:30, so this was a waste of time for us and disappointing that we couldn't even get food to go (we already know what we wanted) as we asked about that too. We passed on the desserts and went to another local establishment (spent $100) that had vegan options and it turned out to be a wonderful decision.
