This is going to sound strange, but Shucks does vegetable accompaniments really well. There are not a lot of restaurants in the metro area that do vegetables seriously. The fish is obviously awesome, but if you are looking to hit your side out of the park, Shucks is your place. Lots of customization possibilities for your sides. The wait staff also have a great sense of humor and are very helpful. I just keep coming back and back to this place.

I'm just gonna say, I love oysters. And this place? Is absolutely fantastic. Greatly priced with good service and an awesome atmosphere

What a great place to eat. Good food, service and a fun atmosphere. I had the salmon, it was very tasty. The portions are large enough that my wife and I could share a meal.

Had 35cent each peel and eat shrimp for happy hour. Wait staff was friendly and shrimp was wonderful! $3.50 margaritas were good too!

A place that knows how to properly prepare salmon... Fresh expertly shocked oysters... The Ahi sandwich is a standout as is the gumbo and jambalaya. Cozy, friendly and not pretentious... You'll leave full and satisfied.
