Fantastic place to eat!!! Great food although you have to get there early. It's a med sized place but it's so good that you have to stand and wait for a table. The size of your meal is amazing. I always have enough for another meal.

Pretty good food. Waitress was nice. Could have been a little more attentive. Atmosphere is not really much to brag about, but it is clean. Good place for a casual meal and decent prices considering large portions.

Cozy wood cabin. Friendly staff. Good food. Poor waitress was the only waitress at lunch this time so orders took a little longer to take and get to the tables. But she was working really hard and provided great service regardless of being the only one. Had the famous fish plate (carp) which came as ribs. Fried well, not dry, quite tasty. Mashed potatoes are real potatoes. Also ordered escargot as an appetizer, which was also really good. AND the mixtape they were playing was good oldies... A really good mix, provided a good ambience. Overall really nice experience.

Good place to drive from Omaha... can improve in maintenance, but still a descent place. My friend introduced this place to me and I’m visited couple more times after that.

Cozy wood cabin interior.
Casual, very friendly and helpful service.
They have outdoor seating which would be nice in the summer time.
Food was all good. We were informed that the owner was in cooking today. Many items are made in house.
The fried oysters were delicious. The chicken is a touch salty for my taste, but still fried up nicely, with moist meat.
The prices looked high, but the portions are exceptionally large that make up for it, so the price point is fine.
I wasn't a big fan of the soup, but it wasn't bad.
If you are looking for fried food, this is definitely a good place to go. They do have other items that aren't fried, but it seems like fried is best. For sides, I liked their mashed potatoes.
A bit hard to find if you are just driving around looking for it, but we used GPS, and found it without a problem.
