Blackberry Inn Bed and Breakfast

My stay here was one of the best accommodations experiences of my traveling life. Well-appointed rooms (so many big fluffy towels), great food, helpful staff, a lovely, peaceful setting, and interesting guests to chat with. Steve couldn’t be more hospitable. And after hiking 35 miles in 4 days we gained two pounds from Tammy’s delicious and abundant cooking.

Perfect and picturesque. Everything you could ever expect at a bed and breakfast! The only way this could be better is if they served dinner, too!

The Blackberry Inn is a really beautiful place with an amazing historic interieur design. The Service is great and helpful and the breakfast is delicious. They also adapt to food allergies, which is a plus. You can also order lunch boxes to a fair price. However, also I ordered a gluten-free lunch I got a normal sandwich which was highly disappointing when I found out. It can also be dangerous so I guess here is room for improvement.

The Blackberry Inn is a beautiful, tranquil property located ~35 minutes away from Yosemite. It is also close to local restaurants and bars, which greatly broadens your choices while visiting the park. The rooms are cosy and the beds are very comfortable. My wife and I stayed in the Ahwahnee Suites (right-hand building). So, a delicious house-made breakfast served on the terrace just outside of our room. Hands down, the best part is the friendly and extremely helpful staff. They had great advice regarding what activities were best in the park and even set up dinner reservations for us. Great place, would definitely return for another stay.

The grounds are beautiful and lots of room to roam. The room was large with a large bathroom. Steve was the perfect host. Appointments are Americana but, not overdone. Both buildings just fit perfectly on the mountain side. No televisions, a plus to me. However, the WiFi was good so I could get business done and head out relaxed.
