This was a lovely spot in a beautiful location. It felt very cozy and personable, which also means you should definitely get there at a reasonable hour and make sure they know when you are coming! This isn't the kind of place with a permanent staff at the front desk. There weren't toiletries in the bathroom--maybe there were some if you needed them, but we had everything we needed. I only wish we hadn't left before breakfast. Apparently it's quite good!

We purchased our stay also through Groupon. Scheduled for March 2012 and then received a phone message shortly later (about a week) stating they would be closed for renovations and to reschedule. Trying to get a hold of anyone to do this took about 2-3 weeks BECAUSE THEY NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONES.
We did finally reschedule for Memorial Day Weekend. We showed up right around 3 PM and waited another 20-30 minutes before anyone came to help us; we called the number they have displayed at their check-in desk for further assistance and could hear it ringing throughout the inn and no one answered. The woman who did help us came from within the inn so she effectively ignored our calls for 20-30 minutes.
The inn itself is beautiful and historic, the beds are uncomfortable but the room and bathroom were clean and nice. We NEVER MET the "inn keeper" who I'm convinced doesn't really exist. We had no assistance with making reservations, finding places to eat, or activities to do. We've been to other B&B's and this is not typical; if they're going to market themselves as a B&B (which they clearly do no their website) then the service should match that.
I would go back to the area but WILL NEVER STAY AGAIN.
