Blackie's Bull Dog Tavern

One of the best restaurants in the East Coast by far! The head chef is a creative genius that pairs all her delicious meals with mixed ingredients that will leave your pallet screaming for more but your belly saying enough. This place needs to be tried to experience something out of this dining world. The menu changes with the seasons and with that comes some fantastic meals. After one visit you will want to go no where else. Portions and price are incredibly on par.

Exquisite food. Very comprehensive paleo menu, my wife’s choices for appetizer and entree were both fabulous. I had the BBQ 2.0; mac-n-cheese was great and the pulled pork and brisket were perfectly smoked. Will definitely keep this place at the top of my list! Oh, and the wait staff, owner, manager and head chef... my first time here and all were so wonderful. It’s just so nice to have a completely pleasant experience.

The work that goes into this place is staggering. Great food, super hip atmosphere, and fantastic service. Somehow every bite was better than the last, and I really enjoyed the beer selection. Great, casual atmosphere for friends and family. I look forward to coming back and try the new local sausage patty!

It was okay, if not a bit over-hyped. Most likely won't be going again (unless somebody else is paying). We'd tried to go a few times but we're put off by the long waits until a coworker told me about the app that you can use to ''call ahead". We arrived 10 minutes before the quoted time and we're at a table within 10 minutes - awesome for a Friday night. We ordered out drinks, an appetizer to share, and our meals. The small order of pulled-pork nachos were delicious and could have been a meal itself. Now for the first issue; after a beer I ordered a glass of water -- it was gross. A big gulp straight out of Capron Pond would have tasted better . My fiancee had the fish and chips which he said we're way over salted. I had the American as apple pie burger and sweet potato fries.... Also over salted. This restaurant is way overpriced for the area and quality of the food.

Best food in northern RI. You WILL NOT find anything better. This place is so consistent; EVERY TIME I order, the food is perfect and it tastes phenomenal! Jeanine and Angie, y'all definitely know what you're doing.. Keep it up!
