Blue Box Bridal

As Miss Minnesota 2017, I am always in need of formal wear for my job! I am so lucky to call Blue Box Bridal a proud supporter and close friend, not only of our organization, but personally as well. The selection of dresses from this store were diverse; great for any number of formal events. The attire is always fitted properly to whatever your body size/shape/type is, and if it doesn’t fit, they help you to either achieve the look you want with alteration suggestions or help you find an alternative. Most importantly though, Karla is one of the kindest people I know and always makes sure I look and feel my best, regardless of whether there is a crown on my head or not. She is a friend for life and I appreciate her more than anything! Thank you Blue Box Bridal for all you do!

Blue box bridal was so awesome with my son fitting him in a picture perfect all white tux with a touch of red for his junior prom! He looked so amazing and was the only one in a white tux! We will definitely be back there for his senior prom! The staff was great and Vanessa was such a great help with picking the perfect colors, fit, and style of everything! The tux was just what Dominick wanted which made me and his dad so happy! Vanessa had so much knowledge about all the different styles and we were so pleased with everything all around! We will definitely be spreading the word about this place!

Amazing staff and products!! All of the reviews that comment on dresses being ordered sizes too big- I would like to kindly educate you and anyone else who does not understand the process of dress fitting :) When you get your measurements taken at any bridal shop (bust, waist, hips) they look at your measurements and match it with a sizing chart. They have to choose the size that matches your biggest measurement- otherwise the dress could be too small on one area and not fit. So maybe you are a size 2 in the hips but a size 10 in the bust, you HAVE to order the size 10 and get the dress altered, otherwise you're stuck with a dress that won't fit in the bust. Many bridal stores do not have their own seamstress but instead refer someone to do alterations. This is because they sell gowns and not alteration services.

This may not always be the case, but I had bought my wedding dress at Blue Box off the sale rack for $200, over the course of the 2 years waiting to get married. I couldn't come close to fitting into my 👗! They took my dress back and gave me credit for another dress. I have been in a couple weddings since that time and have always had a wonderful experience. The reveiws being posted that are negative are from a former employee. I hope people can look past those comments, because the service is very good!

As Executive Director of Miss Minnesota Scholarship Pageant, when we needed a gown for an appearance, not only did Blue Box sponsor the gown, they sponsored 3 beautiful gowns - and all three fit our Miss Minnesota like a glove - no alterations needed. All designer gowns. Karla, one of the owners, is true to her word and a gem to work with! I highly recommend Blue Box Bridal to anyone!! We will be back again before Miss America!
