Bride To Be Consignment

I love this place. Their selection of dresses is decent, but it's really the decorations and supplies that are great. You can make a decent amount of money consigning items, especially if you're willing to put in the time to re-consign more than once. Some of the 'wedding' decor items are actually useful housewares or can be used as decoration for any event. Because of the consignment policy in which items are half-price after 60 days, many items are cheaper than you find at even thrift stores.

For the most part, they have reasonable pricing, but some items on the shelves are trash. Handmade stuff can be cute if done right but some of the quality of the items are glued-gunned, paint-smeared hot garbage. They're some diamonds in the rough if showcased correctly would sell better. Place is too cluttered, staff isn't always the nicest/ responsive. Good place to grab last minute things you may necessarily don't care about for you wedding.

Good selection of similarly colored things if you need decor. The prices seem a bit high though for what they are, in some situations I figure you could get the decor new for the price being offered. Additionally, they would not take my dress, which was fairly new, said it was not a style they took. But I had tried on a dress in their collection recently that had a large hole in it (still being offered at 800$) so I’m not sure about their consignment rules, seems mixed on what they will, and will not take. Because of this the dresses offered all seem to be of a similar style I found, at least in size 18+. Seems like their selection caters to the smaller sized bride as the selection for larger sizes is poor at the moment (I realize inventory is always shifting). I'd probably thrift before coming back for decor items due to cost.

Ugh... not worth the drive. Went shopping today for my mother of the bride dress. My daughter and I went to JcPennys, Macy’s, David’s and lastly bride to be consignment. Upon walking in it was pretty overwhelming seeing all the outdated and definitely used items. We looked at 6 dresses that I might be interested in and there was definitely sticker price shock. Bride to be was asking $149-$440 for those dresses and and hour earlier I paid less than $110 for my perfect dress at David’s Bridal... The shop was cluttered and prices were high. Not one of the 4-5 employees offered any assistance let alone say hello to us as they were pretty busy chatting it up at the register while items were on the floor in disarray throughout the entire shop. Wouldn’t recommend.

I went to Bride To Be Consignment after searching at multiple department stores and consignment stores to find my perfect prom dress and I finally did! They have had the biggest selection of dresses out of every place I've been to. I do think that some of the dresses are overpriced for what they are (having jewels falling off, missing hooks, or small tears) but that could be from people trying them on or because the original dress was so expensive. Those dresses could easily be fixed though and they didnt have any dresses that were damaged beyond repair. They have so many name brand dresses here. The workers were so friendly and nice! They let you try on as many dresses as you wanted and they would even hold your fitting room while you went to grab even more! The fitting rooms did not have mirrors in them BUT have had huge mirrors and pedestals outside the fitting room so you could really see all of the dress. The dresses were organized by size and even color. It was easy to find the styles I like. After trying on about 15 dresses I finally found my perfect prom dress. The price was $251 but they had a deal of 15% off all dresses so I got it for $213. I looked up the brand Ava Presley (the brand of my dress) and originally their dresses are usually around $500 so I got it for about half the price. I was very pleased with my experience to Bride To Be and I would recommend this store to anyone looking for a variety of dresses. They have so many different styles of prom and wedding dresses and it's overall just a lovely place.
