I hadn’t been skating since I was a kid and was almost terrified to try it again before coming here. There is skating and arcade games. The rentals are and skating fee are reasonable. If you have Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance, you skate for free! This was a pleasant surprise. It was awesome to skate while checking out the views and the lights. There happened to be fireworks near the bridge the night I went which was hella cool to skate to. I’m excited to see how they develop this area going forward. I’d like to see a little more offerings for food and drink since it’s so far removed from everything.
In Penn’s landing it could have been even better. More cleaner and more organized. Ride attendant were not much professional though they were friendly and helpful with the kids. The whole environment was not so great for some unknown reason. It was a great Saturday evening, people were looking enthusiastic to have a great time, yet something was missing. I don’t know what, may be next time this will work better for us!
It was perfect weather and fun. Went down to squeeze in so e little fun. There is a discount if you have blue cross insurance and their affiliates like keystone. Did a little skating, the ferris wheel and walked along the water. Would definitely tell you to take a quick trip you don't have to stay long for the atmosphere.
Was a nice and not so busy carnival feel, not many rides to get on but they do have lots of games and an arcade $$ ,lots of sitting area's if you wanna chill or to get a bite to eat it there's also a Chickie's and Pete you're the children will have plenty of fun the women's bathroom needs cleaning tho
Maybe we went on a bad day or too early because the pics online and what we saw were not the same. The Riverrink has a traveling carnival vibe. Parking was $20 and we didn’t get to experience the skating rink because it rained the staff was clearing the water but we didn’t want to wait. The kids enjoyed the bungee jumping station.
This is so much better than it used to be. Now there's parking - albeit stupid expensive, but it's admittedly better than trying to find your own like you had to years ago. The actual skating is super cheap if you have your own rentals. Plenty of opportunities to warm up as well. With the great food, games, and everything else nearby, you could easily spend the day there. We shall return!
Rink is outside, right in front of views by the river. It s ice rink , you can see the fireworks from there. There is food for sale, If you have blue cross and blue independence insurance you get a discount on admission. The bathroom was dirty, but only one available. The spirit of Philadelphia is a short walk down, and the Hilton. The seaport museum is also very close. There is a ferry that can take you across the river to the aquarium. There’s a souvenir shop down the street on market.
Came on Saturday around 1pm. There was a good crowd not to many people. Didn't make reservations nor got tickets online, so we paid once we got there. $15- rent skates & to skate. When we were about to skate, they sold out of skate guides so we just took our chances and took it slow. There was a good amount of people on the rink and everyone kept their distance as best as we all could. People who knew what they were doing and didn't hog the edge so people like me and my son could hold on. There was a guide $5 to rent left by the enter sign so I took it for my son. No one was using it. Since we could now all skate together without having to go around people to stay on our feet. After he had one, it was a very much enjoyable experience. Especially as a first time skater. There wasn't anyone checking bracelets so you could easily skate for more than the 90 minute limit. As we left, I let a younger kid who was struggling use the stand we had used, saved the family a few bucks
Had such a fun time at the summer festival! The ferris wheel takes you around plenty of times to capture the beautiful Philadelphia skyline. You will enjoy yourself with family, friends, or on your own.
I did not actually skate...I was just enjoying Penn's Landing, though there were folks having a good time skating. Kids and adults on the the ferris wheel and kids enjoying Bungie supervised. Plenty of activity for kids/ family to enjoy. I had the BEST FUNNEL CAKE ever it was enough for 3 people, sooo good. Still one of Philly's favorite spots to enjoy.
