Welcome to the fun and exciting world of Rolling Thunder Skate Center. Our management and staff would like to take the opportunity to introduce ourselves to you. We are an indoor recreational facility designed for families and children of all sizes and ages. We offer Philadelphia's most exciting roller skating rink, indoor amusement rides, and over 85 of the latest video and prize winning redemption games. Rolling Thunder has 2 hair-raising thrill rides the Frog Hopper and the "Scream Machine" Roller Coaster. We provide a Clean, Fun, Friendly and Safe environment for all families and guests of Rolling Thunder. Along with public skating, we offer private party services for Birthday's, Reunions, Church, Group and Organization Functions, Company Celebrations, Fundraising. Educational School Field Trips. Overall a good idea for the summer holidays to have the children go out and have fun skating.  The staff was extremely pleasant and easy to talk with. The game arcade had lots of functional options and my son Jordan enjoyed his time even though he didn’t skate.  My nice was celebrating her birthday and my nephew and daughter had a blast on skates. The music and the ambience was perfect for the evening.  Thanks to the owners and staff for showing up daily to create a great atmosphere for skating in the northeast.

My son enjoyed his birthday there. They brought SpongeBob out for him as a surprise! Thanks to the manager and DJ for making his day special

I had a party for my daughter on 12/3/22. Nigeria D. Was our party hostess, and she went above and beyond to make sure her party ran smoothly and stress free. Her attentiveness to our party was absolutely amazing. She welcomed everyone in our party individually and took her time to go and assist them with getting tickets for their skates and pushers for the non skaters. Her attentiveness eased all my worries and she made our party a success. We purchased the high roller package for 11 kids and my daughter enjoyed her 8th Birthday she stated this was her best party yet!! Thanks again Nigeria.

I had my 15 yo son's birthday party here and boy did we have a great time. Bought the deluxe package which paid for 10 kids and parents are free. My son said it was his best birthday yet

This place is the most unorganized skating rink I've ever been to. The staff is super ghetto and has to many young teen with the worst attitudes. I didn't like it and didn't feel my children were safe skating due to all the Olympic style skating from amateurs, very dangerous setting for beginner skaters

HOLY-FREAKING-SMOKES. I LOVEDDDDD this place. Omg. My husband and I hosted our daughter's private 5th birthday party here and we are BEYOND pleased with our entire experience. THIS PLACE is incredible. The kids AND the adults had fun! The staff was PHENOMENAL Shelby, Shaqor, Lorraine, and the other super sweet tall young lady, and we literally cannot say enough about our experience. I would HIGHLY recommend this place. We were all smiles the entire time. The staff was very accommodating, they had the party area set up for us before we even arrived, the space was clean and super dope. I could go on and on. I told the parents that I'm gonna plan a time for us to come back for just us because it was so fun! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE AT ROLLING THUNDER SKATING CENTER!!!!!! WE ARE SO PLEASED!!!!

Great place for the kids. This was our first time, and my daughter liked it and learned how to skate in 10 minutes. It wasn't too crowded, but we got there about 30 minutes before closing. Staff can brush up on customer service, but they seemed to be teens or no older than 20ish, so it's par for the course

While I had a blast being around my family and friends .. I think that whn spending that kind of money thing s should be a bit more organized & communication between staff could be better. My mom had to use a table clothe to cover up rolls of carpet and equipment in the “vip” room. After I said something I was told tht I have access to everything I paid for. I was also told my mom could come at 8:30 to start decorating she got there at 8:30 n had to wait. Whn I mentioned it to the girl she told me the party didn’t start till 10.I farther explained to her wht I was told. I was also asked was I using their dj or did I hve my own after I paid for a dj, tht should hve never been a question. I was told they normally just play music in rotation. After I mentioned I’d be back next week there was suddenly a dj. I asked a few people who worked there was he a dj n they said no. So I’m not really sure wht I paid for. The rides was not running. The stand where you can buy the light up accessories from was not up n lit. But thnks to my family n friends I had a blast skating n enjoying the moments with them.

I didn’t actually go in so I’m not going to give 1 star but just by looking in through the window on the front door I can see/hear that the music is very loud and because of the carpeted area in the center, the rink itself gets crowded very easily.  And based on the reviews I’ve seen, the other aspects of this place besides the rink aren’t great either and they’re definitely not worth the weekend admission price. Considering how much admission is on the weekends I went on a Saturday, I can’t recommend this place. The price being low on weekdays is good but I don’t think many people are interested in going to a roller rink on a weekday evening.
