Blue Heron Bed and Breakfast

First let me state that we have stayed in over 100 bed and breakfast or inns all over the world and this by far was the worst The room was dirty, there were no amenities even hand soap in the bathroom. Had to ask for wash cloths then treated like this was an unusual thing not to reuse your cloths for several (3) days of showers. Our room and bed were not made up ever. We had a fridge in our room that was gross and had a freezer full of old food. Breakfast was definately an experience. The food was ok but very little of it. 2 out of the 3 days we had a 1 person omelette to share with 3 or 4 people. The other people eating were the owners. At one point the lady stated after she "retired" she hadn't planned to do much. Lol. Running a B and B is not being retired. There was no working Internet as stated and the pictures on the website are not accurate. Also there was a horrible smell in our room kinda like wet dogs. Apparently staying in a few B and B's was not enough to teach these owners how to run an inn. Would not return or recommend

We held our yearly staff retreat at the Blue Heron. We loved it! They went above and beyond for us! What a great place to just get away from it all!
