Blue Paddle Bistro

Great cozy location with local art and owners. Cool motif around the building and bar. They were out of the special soup and the burrito was only so-so, with too many veggies and not enough meat. Still, other things on the menu looked very good. Appetizers were great. No kids menu. On the pricey side with entree's in the $30 dollar range. Burgers and sandwiches available in the $15 range however. Definitely check it out if you haven't yet and are in the area!

This has been my family’s favorite Vermont restaurant for years. The food and service has remained fantastic. The owners go out of their way to make their customers feel welcomed as family. I can’t say enough good things about the owners’ hospitality! We most recently had a graduation dinner here and it was lovely. They had a filet mignon special that many people got (it was a amazing!) topped with Gorgonzola cheese. I honestly always always get the soy glazed salmon. Currently daydreaming of the next time we will be at the Blue Paddle. The best!

The food was excellent my wife and I both loved our dinner. Great wine selection as well. But the wait staff was very unprofessional, from the second we entered we could hear them talking rudely about customers at the entrance. Then later during our delicious meal the wait staff again was being very rude waithin earshot of multiple dinner guests. And at the end they messed up our bill. It seemed like the wait staff was to busy gossiping and not focusing on working. It wasn't very busy either. My complements to the kitchen though. I can't rave about the food enough.

Wonderful location and great food. On a nice day be sure to wander out back and enjoy the outside seating.
