Beautiful trail, secluded feeling even with major roads nearby. It is not very well maintained though. I wish they had more sign posts or maps along the trail.

This is some of the best trail hiking in the KC area. We did several training hikes here and enjoyed it. The parking is bad, but the trails are good. I have read that this used to be a Boy Scout camp back in the 1930s.

Excellent hiking for the whole family. Share the trails with bikes and horses! Great river views along the way.
