Bluefield Regional Medical Center

I was the Clinical Nutrition Manager (Dietitian) at Bluefield. What a nightmare. I worked for HHS (Hospital Housekeeping Systems), they run the Dietary department. They were so unethical. Local and regional management lied so much I stopped counting. The Dietary Manager they have in place now can't get along with anyone, and fires people to make himself feel important. He fired 6 people in 5 months, good people, some had been there 30 and 40 years. Bluefield administration and CHS should rethink their contact with HHS. Hospital Administration should also wake up and stop him from destroying the department. Unfortunately, HHS and Administration enable him to cause trouble for both hourly and professional staff. The way the department is run is disgusting. I wouldn't recommend for anyone to work there or to be a patient at Bluefield. They're completely destructive and unethical.

Some superheros don't wear capes they wear scrubs! I cannot say enough good things about the nursing staff at BRMC. They are truly wonderful. My husband had to be admitted to CCU and we were treated like family. The same care was shown as he transitioned to a regular room. Thank you BRMC for saving his life!

Will never go back to Bluefield regional again. Also tried to call the director left several messages nothing back I have high complaints with them & the head nurse assistant they can bet I will never come back also gonna keep on calling until something is addressed.

Now I see why everyone told me not to go to this hospital! Dr acted like I was a waste of his time, even though I was the only patient there when I was put in a room. He told me the ER is for "real" emergencies..before even checking me or doing Any tests. We had told him that my regular Dr said to go to the ER if there was any changes or I got worse, because of my current health issues and medical history. He just stood there, with his arms crossed, looking at me like I was something gross he stepped in and spoke to me as though I were a misbehaving child. Was a total jerk. Only nice people were my nurse and the girl who did my CT (and even my nurse dismissive). Everyone was rude. The nurses just sat around having social time at the nurse's station. A nurse was even rude and, in my opinion, just plain Mean to an elderly man in the next bed! I progressively worsened while there, but they didn't seem to notice or care, then diagnosed me with a headache and sent me home! Never going back.. I'd rather die first.. and will definitely tell everyone I know to avoid this place.

The nurses are rude and the doctor tried telling me babies don't have sweat glads. If you are going to hire idiots perhaps you shouldn't call it a hospital.
