Blythewood IGA

I generally go to the Food Lion simply because its on the way home and IGA is inconveniently located relative to my house and the interstate. That said, we go there regardless because we like some of the meats (esp ribs) and vegetable selections. At times, they're the only place around that had "off season" items, such as when we were looking for smoking chips to make ribs in mid winter. The selection and quality make it worth the extra traffic

Stopped here to avoid going out of the way to make my usual food lion stop. Literally 2 lanes open and 20+ people in each line. Manager said they had to one else to cashier. Even Walmart could have managed better checkout than this IGA.

I usually go to Food Lion because it is a little bit closer to the house, but IGA is still as good as it has always been. Good produce with many options, awesome meat selection, clean, and great staff. IGA also has those hard to find "country" items that can not be found at FL.
